Recent newbie myself. Nobody I know likes (or knows about) Farscape either. It was nice to find this group.
(I once joined another online fan group for another show I like (eek, yes, I like something besides Farscape :eek:), & not one person replied to my hi-I'm-new post... I lost interest fairly soon. In contrast lots of folks here seem very nice :) )

Hi everyone. I had posted about not being able to find DVDs and there were several helpful replies. Thanks to all. I ended up going with Amazon.com, so I didn't end up waiting too long for the first season.

I can't believe how addicted I've become to this show!!! I've only seen three episodes so far (viewed a second time with the commentaries) and I'm totally hooked. I had only watched the first two episodes (through Netflix) and decided I *had* to buy the DVDs. Usually, I jump in with both feet - get the whole series at once. But I kept my cool this time (sorta) and just got the first season. Just in case it turns into one of those shows you enjoy watching, but don't think you'll watch again and again (i.e. a waste money).

Anyway, I'm up to episode 3 and I predict that I will be buying the rest of the DVDs in the very near future and getting very little sleep for the next month.

By the way - a little about me. I live on Long Island in NY. Other TV obsessions I have/had are Xena: Warrior Princess, Battlestar Galactica, X-Files, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer (not on the scale of the other shows).

I recently got the season 4 box set. Yeah I know, its a little late but I had everything on vhs and welll... its not quite the same experience. :D
