Hello !
I just joined and thought that I should introduce myself. I've been lurking here for a while and now I decided that I should register :)
So, to the introducing myself part...
My name is Hanna and I'm from Finland (as you might have guessed from the subject line...) I have been a fan for a bit over a year now, so I'm pretty new in this :)
I would also like to use this opportunity and say thanks to all of you who have fought for Farscape. You have done an amazing job !

Welcome!
Hey Madre Farbot....what precisely were you joking about? I certainly hope it has nothing to do with a certain thread in the OT forum....

:whoops: What do you mean?
Ok, so what if I’m a loose thread, who gives a monkey’s? Anyway, I never joke about things that I don’t joke about unless it’s something that is serious and it’s getting out of hand. But of course I’m not being really serious right now, so it doesn’t really matter, or does it? :dunno:
Er, I hope that helps. :D

Hi there...like you, I've been lurking around these boards and decided to join up.
So what's the Farscape fan scene like in Finland? Aside from the fact that Jari Kurri and Esa Tikannen (some of my favorite hockey players) come from there...I don't know a thing about your home!

Well, there's not much to tell about Finland except Ice Hockey, Nokia and Kimi Räikkönen (the F1 driver) :)
We are a pretty small country and the amount of Farscape fans in here is very small too. I don't know any other than my friend and the other Finnish members in here. It's being broadcasted on a cable channel and I think that is the reason why Farscape isn't popular in Finland. Scifi fans in general are a minority in Finland, which is a shame :(

Mieluinen !!!
I hope that's the right word. I looked it up on the Internet. :)
If it's not the right one here's the only one I really know "Welcome".

Well, not quite :) But hey, it's Finnish at least :aok: Welcome is "tervetuloa" in Finnish. You know now a lot more Finnish than most of the people ;)

Oops. I just hope "mieluinen" wasn't something bad. If so my humble apologies.
:whisper: Since I can't pronounce either one then I still don't know any Finnish.

Don't worry, it was nothing bad. I guess it would be something like "pleasing" or "nice" in english :)
And thanks for the welcome Jax !
