okay guys, we now have our show back and i think its time we took a more active role in the campaign (i mean as a country) so as the library project seems to be going so well, i thought that maybe we could do the same to get new viewers to the show when it returns.

If you need video tapes, I have 6 original tapes with Season 1 episodes, they're almost brand new and in excellent condition.

what my plan was to donate some videos, or dvds (depending on my cash flow) and stick a farscape campaign sticker inside the case.
im ganna start with my local library, and then work from there. not really much of a game plan! :D

How about starting it off informally - everyone who can donates to their local library, and people can post here about which libraries they've covered?

sounds like a plan to me! ive got portsmouth covered, if theres anyone who would like to donate any videos/ dvds / cash to the fund please pm me.

i will try and find a full listing of librarys in the country so we know which ones we can cover and what we cant.

if everyone who whats to be involve please state what part of the country they are from so i know how many and where you are at.

Great idea!

I know it's not much but I have an extra DVD box with episodes 1.19 to 1.22 for whoever is interested in donating it to his/her local library.

As I'm in Belgium and as it's the UK version of the DVD (so no French on it) I can't do anything with it.

Why didn't I think of that?? I have a spare copy of one of the S2 sets... I can give that to my local library. It's only across the road from me!

One copy of FS vol one at the Milmay Adult Library in the London Borough of Islington
Two books only in London Borough of Ealing
None in the following libraries:

London Borough of Hillingdon
Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Kingston upon Thames
Richmond Upon Thames

Unable to search the following libraries but they are close enough to get to:

London Borough of Hounslow
London Borough of Harrow
London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham

I think this covers the West and Northwest London

What I found worked with convincing my local library to order in Farscape DVD's was to print out the Amazon list complete with reviews. For the Season 1 DVD's I had to staple the pages together - there were a LOT of very positive reviews. I gave the printout to the order desk, and said that I considered Farscape 'art'. They seemed to like that.

Anyway, Season 1 DVD's were ordered without a hitch. That approach worked for me.

So you've watched the season one box set, and your working you way through the season two set and you thinking about your next purchase. Hmmm

Well if you buy the set 3.1 you get a free copy of "Premier" [on a separate DVD] free!

Generous people that they are.

Extend that generousity to your neighbours :hug2: and donate this DVD to your local library. It won't decimate your collection and it was free!

Amazon can deliver in 5-8 days and there are still some copies in HMV and MVC. Approximate price £24. :puppy:

Also have spare copies of Season 2, Box sets 1, 4 and 5 - all on DVD, as have upgraded to the full box set.

Based in Surrey, near Weybridge, haven't been to a library in about 10 years and have no idea where the nearest one is to me. But the DVD's are all yours for the campaign
