4.2?

Any idea if there has been a date set for the release of Farscape 4.2. Just curious. Hope it's in January!

RightStuf usually does send things out about a week early from the release date, regardless of the legal ramifications, they do it all the time with anime. They don't have any news about the delay of 4.1 though. :(

They also have sales based on manufacturer, so when there's an ADV sale, the Farscape stuff goes on sale too, and we're talking 30-40% on average.

I used to pre-order, but I've found that I can save by buying it locally. Even if rightstuff.com doesn't charge shipping, you'll still pay at least $29.99. Best Buy will have it on the shelf for $23.99 with no shipping. (okay, you pay tax.)

Also, since I buy it from a local store, they have discovered that they sell Farscape DVDs and now stock every volume.

I prefer DeepDiscount DVD. I can usually preorder Farscape DVDs for $23.99 and get free shipping, without tax. :D

I order from the rightstuf mostly because I also order other anime from them. This works in my favor over other sources for 2 reasons, 1. I'm a member of their membership buying club which takes 15% off nearly every order except heavily discounted items, including the preorders and 2. any order of over $100 gets free shipping. Combining that with the occasional ADV sale I will pay less for the DVDs that DDDVD will offer on regular sales. And I do tend to save up on orders so I can order a massive $100+ order to get the free shipping, they take the 15% off the total order and you get the free shipping anyway, even if the additional member discount puts you under.

In short, it makes sense for me because I also order anime with the Farscape DVD and it does turn out to be cheaper for me overall. I also trust rightstuf as a company and with my credit card info. I've been ordering stuff from them for years and they have good customer service and return policies.

Does anyone know what the extra features on this are?

I'm a R2 gal, but we got bugger all good stuff (deleted scenes - but no commentaries or interviews with S4 peeps) on ours, buuuut we'd pobably get the R1 stuff on the box sets......

wow i got season 1 box set a while back from amazon for 104 bucks... thought that was a good deal :P i guess i should of shopped around more. oh well

Kaa I'm thinking that the disc with BT on it will have extra Feats. because the keep three parters together it would be on it's own
