Hey all you medical personnel!
I'm sick. I don't want to go to the doctor, but I think my mother is going to make me.
So I'm thinking if I can talk to anyone on here then maybe I can figure out what I have and won't have to go to the doctors. I know, I'm lazy and stubborn. What can I say, it's a gift!
I guess I'll wait and see if we have any doctors or nurses before I post my symptoms! LOL
Thanks!

I used to be a radiographer, so if it has anything to do with your bones etc. :D

I hate going to doctors too! 3 years ago I had pneumonia with a 103 temp...I still wasn't going to go, finally my wife talked me into going, they gave me an IV with Rocephin(SP?) and wanted me to stay overnight...HA...I don't think so! Had to go to my regular doc for 3 straight days afterward for more shots. I've seen so many doctors since my back injury, I can't hardly stand being tested/seen by any doctors anymore! You'll go to the doctor when you feel bad enough. Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm a nurse and I say bite the bullet and go see the doctor for frells sake! Most of us hate going, but sometimes it's necessary (and we healthcare types make the worst patients).

Yeah I know. And you'll be happy to know that I have an appointment at 9:00am this morning. I also talked to a friend of mine who's an MA and she said she thinks I may have just a really bad head cold (b/c I don't feel really bad in my chest). However, there have been a few cases of pneumonia going around so that's always a possiblity. My ma thinks I may have the flu, but I don't know.
All I know is my head is killing me, I lost my voice (never happened before), and I can't breathe out of my nose! LOL

Flight Medic soon to be Nurse, ..... Go to the doctor. What the its better than dealing with someone like me who will fly in, stick you full of needles, and all kind of tubes you probably don't need :)
Hey, got to justify those flights.....
Of coarse, if BlueBitch sees this, she'll probably ask when I ever went to the doctor without being told 1 billion times.....But as Scape_S said, we're the worst patients around

hehe I'm really bad about going to the doctor's. After I fell off this one horse and had a collapsed lung, it took me three days to go. I swore I was fine. Who needs to breathe, anyway? LOL

PM me with all your medical symptoms. You may blocked nasal passages. Exactly how does your head hurt?
Feel like a vice?
have a temp?
No chest congestion?
Does your head feel like it is pulsating, everytime your heart beats? ETC. You still need to see a doc.
