Nothing against Rygel, but I don't think he can pull it off, for one thing, his accent just isn't right, and he's too short.

Our spies have intercepted the attached photo. According to BBC memos, they're still trying to find a Doctor that is popular on both sides of the Atlantic. This doesn't bode well...

There has been no announcement as of yet. There was an announcement over the cartoon version of the show... but nothing is set yet.

According to 4 polls in the UK... Anthony Stewart Head is the leading canidate... but he isn't the guy that is the producer is interested in. I can't recall his name... but...

Anyway... I have read Eddie, Anth, Sean Pertwee(son of the late Jon Pertwee who was the Third Doctor)... and 5 or 6 others.

I actually like the job that Rowan did. I'm sure it's not his cup of tea, but I'd watch a season with him as the good Doctor.

It would be a toss-up between Anthony Stewart Head and Sean Pertwee.
