Ya know that one episode where John gets all pissed off at every one so he goes on a little Joyride on his ship and Moya goes into starburst just leaving John there? Well you know when D'argo and Rygel go down to save John on the Island and all the native people think that Rygel is the Masada. Is Rygel really the Masada? I kinda got confused.:O

Um, the term you're looking for is masata. *Masada* was a stronghold fortress of King Herod, where a standoff between the Roman Army and Jewish resistance took place.

And Rygel *was* the masata, kind of... it's complicated, like everything Farscapian. But he got them out of the jam.

Welcome!

Rygel's ancestor dumped them there so he inherited the problem. He wasn't the god they thought he was, he was just their long lost ruler. So yes and no.
