it explains how Gigi Edgeley had to cancel her appearance on this past weekend's Angel Convention at the Thistle Hotel in Heathrow, England "due to filming on an unspecified miniseries".

I wonder what mini-series this could be that she is already working on? :D :D :D :D :D

From what I hear, filming on that other unspecified miniseries is due to start sometime this month :D.

So it must have been the Blackjack trilogy, which we know is already shooting, which blocked last weekend.

I believe the start date is some time after December 20th. Ben Browder is tied up in Dallas on another job until then. Of course that does not preclude filming segments earlier that do not have John Crichton in them so we are left to speculate just when filming on Farscape will actually begin.
:applaud: isn't this fun ... a month ago we weren't even thinking about filming anything Farscape and now we can speculate on what joys lie ahead :boogie:

Oh well. I thought she when she bowed out of the convention it meant that a sudden filming of more FarScape had suddenly come up, perhaps even a few days early.

I also thought it meant there was confirmation that actors other than Ben and Claudia had reprised their roles. Although I assume that they are all coming back.

I know its all in the works, just need a little more patience.

You can bet good money that Gigi!!!(sigh) and the rest of the gang will be back for the miniseries.

The reason she had to cancel her con appearance was most likely due to her commitment to the Blackjack TV movies. From what I know she's supposed to be in the next 2 or 3 of those reprising her role from the first.

I believe that one of the most recent newspaper reports on the miniseries specifically said that Gigi was going to be in it:

Anyway, Brian Henson and co. aren't stupid. I'm sure they know that if they left out a cast member like Gigi, they'd have irate fans hunting them down :D.
