Natira Told John Blue Eyes were Rare?

Dargo, Aeryn, Rygel, Scorpy, John, and even Zaahn(Kinda) Have Blue Eyes How could she think they were rare?

I suppose she meant in general all over the UT or something. It IS weird so many of Moya's crew have blue eyes.

D'Argo's were originally green, but seemed to have morphed into blue over the seasons. I assume they stopped using the contacts for a good reason.

Perhaps that's another reason why when John proclaimed "...And they're blue!" he got the looks. Eye color definitely doesn't make John unique on Moya. ;)

D'Argo's eyes changed color because Anthony Simcoe had a little "boo boo" while filming the first couple of episodes of the series where he got cleaning solution in his eyes. Needless to say -- D'Argo's eyes are no longer green.

I think it was the "softness" that Natira found so rare. We must admit, his eyes ARE very special! THUD!

I have two more comments

1. It looked to me as if Natira Lipped "what the hell is that" not "what the FREL is that" did she redo it in post? I figured she did they do 80 or 90% over in post anyway.

2. "Then I'll put a bullet in his head and be done with it," pulse Pistols don't have bullets they have oil. That sounds like something John would have said not Aeryn think he told her thats what he wanted done?

Aeryn really has blue eyes? I never noticed that. Now im going to have to find some frelling closeups.

Not that I mind that.

Aeryn's got blue eyes? I must not have ever noticed. I thought they were darker. I guess I'll have to look more carefully next time.

Her eyes are bluish. They seem to change, though, because they look grayish in one scene and blue in the next. I'm pretty sure her eyes are blue, though.

I love the Farscape image archive, such a wonderfully efficient thing.

Looks like blue to me.

I would call Claudia's eyes gray, myself. They can look blue in certain light, but they're much darker than someone with baby blue eyes, which John has.

His eyes are a striking shade of blue, so maybe that's what Natira was referring too. I have a friend with that same blue and they're really amazing. Everyone else I know with blue eyes either has the gray that Claudia has or their eyes are less vibrant.

Wayne's eyes are pretty freakin' blue. I noticed it during the "Family Ties" commentary and they were talking about how it's better that he doesn't wear contacts, etc. You'd think that Natira would notice Scorpy's eyes.

As far as the color of Aeryn's eyes... let me just throw in that there are people who have eyes that change color. My own mothers go from blue to gray to green at different times (never figured out the rhyme or reason though).

My son's eyes to that too. But I've noticed it's seasonal - they change from grey in the winter to green in the summer. (He's a true hottie!) It seems to have to do with the amount or intensity of light. The less light, the bigger the pupil opens up, the less colored iris area shows.

My eyes change between blue and grey depending on how well rested I am. Grey for tired and blue for well rested. Grey also = cranky so look out! lol.

Blue eyes are a recessive gene so I guess they are somewhat rare.

He probably said that to her between the times of episodes. As for my eyes, they will be a vibrant blue when I'm happy....or *VERY* happy. If you know what I mean....]=D. When I am angry, baby blue, and nostalgic, gray.
