Actually, I thought you were the new and improved grinner.... you know, just change your shirt and you're suddenly "new and improved" (heck, it happens to all the products I purchase in the supermarket.... why not do it for people too?).

Is this going to turn into an Arthretic cream thread? I like Flex-all 44... as it doesn't stink.

No stinky creams for me thanks G, I'm into real therapeutic massage ... in fact I'm having one tomorrow morning.
Got to get a massage at least once if not twice a month otherwise my back spasms kill me and make a a cranky person that is not fun to be around.

I really need to go visit a chiropracter again... as my lower back/side is hurting again. I am totally out of alignment. But it happens often because of my bad knees... and the fact that I walk with a limp.

I've had an ache in my lower back on my right side. I've convinced myself that I pinched my Sciatic nerve. I won't go to the doctor and I've never been to a chiropracter. How are they?

well... for a while I was going to a chiropracter every day for about 4 months... M-F. He would align me... and the next day he had to re-align me... and then the next day... etc.
Then I got a bigger vehicle, one that I didn't need to scrunch down in to see out the windshield... and after a while... I stopped going. But since I walk with a limp... my hips are uneven which knocks my back out. After I go to the chiropracter... I have an easier time sleeping and breathing... and I just feel better.

Is it expensive? It isn't covered by insurance is it? Maybe I should start doing yoga. That seems to be really popular now and it theoretically helps muscle pains.

I only paid $5 per visit... everything else was covered by my insurance. I get 150 visits paid by the insurance and any over that I have to pay for. So it isn't THAT expensive.

Welcome to the board generic_screenname. Hey, nice avatar. You'll find all kinds of great Farscape stuff here. Plus some genuinely mediocre conversation about current events, word games... and hey, do you like haikus?

Maybe I should change my screen name to 'StarsGoPretzel-Shaped'... ;)

maybe...but I'm not that far behind you, and based on the 'age' thread, neither are a lot of other folks.
maybe we should start a new forum for senior scapers?
You know, after my hiatus, when I was looking around the first day back (and posting news of my return at every thread I got to:D ), I saw your avatar, and thought you were new. But then the animation changed and I saw the good old (but new)....thing. And knew it was you. And then I looked at your name....and knew it more. Ok, since my mouth can't find anything better to do, I think I'll go stick my foot in it.
