I could scream at the moment. I have been to a Best Buy at least 4 times since Tuesday. None had it. They all told me they have ordered eight and they didn't come in yet or it will be released on Dec. 23rd. I could have called before I went but I was too exicted to look in a phone book! Now I'm hearing reports of people going to their local Best Buy and picking it up without any problems. WHY ME!?!? Especially when I have never seen these episodes and Dog With Two Bones is really leaving me hanging. Oh well? Anyone else having these problems? Anyone near the Philadelphia area pick up their 4.1 in a Best Buy? Well I'll go watch Relativity with my dad (just got him hooked and he is seeing everything for first time; it's great). Guess I'll try on Sunday and this time i'll call.

Yeah, I stopped by my Best Buy (in Atlanta) today as well, but they didn't have 4.1 out yet either. :( I knew they probably wouldn't but I made a trip in 34 degree rain on the off chance they might and was sorely disappointed.

I'll probably just order it online. Too many Christmas shoppers out there from here on to justify lightning raids on the Best Buy just for 1 DVD. :D

If it's any consolation, I've been checking my local stores daily since last weekend with no luck. Heck, by the time it finally shows up I'll probably have gotten over my Farscape fixation. :O

It seems that the 2 Utah Best Buys close to me do not have them. Both said they have a shipment that came in today which they will be unpacking all day today, however, I work and wont be able to get up there till tomorrow :(

I can tell you right now that the 12/23 release date is bulldren! I got that straight from ADV on Wednesday. You can tell that manager that the original release date was 12/2 and that if he doesn't let you have a copy then you'll take it up with his boss or take your business elsewhere.

Sorry if I got off on a rant there...

Anyway, just be patient guys. Like I said in another thread, I spoke with ADV on Wednesday and was told that the DVDs were released but were shipped out late. So some parts of the country might not get them as fast as others. I got mine so quick cuz I'm in Missouri and ADV is in Texas so they shipped a little quicker to me than to folks on the right coast. Hang in there, you'll get your Farscape. I promise!

I will have patience. I must have patience. I'll call this Sunday and check if they have them.

Deep Discount DVD is backordered. Either ADV didn't make enough copies, or we've done our jobs a little too well, and attracted more people to the DVDs! :)

But not from Best Buy. I got it at FYE. Paid the full $40.00 price tag for it, too, because NO ONE in the Hartford, CT area had it...

Well, 1 week after release, the Best Buy in SLC, Utah just put 4.1 on the shelf. I picked up my copy today for $23.99. They had 8 more waiting so grab them before they are gone! :)

I picked mine up from Suncoast Video last week, but they charge full price, unless you preorder it. Twenty-three dollars at Best Buy is a much better deal if you can find it. Unfortunately we have no Best Buy in my town, but the K-mart is closing and is to be replaced by a Best Buy. It is supposed to be open for business by February or March. I can't wait.

Well i couldn't wait any longer and I went to a Suncoast and picked it up for $35.00. It's better than $40.00 but not anywhere as good as $24.00. Oh well. I am really enjoying though. I'm going to watch What was lost Part 1 tonight! Can't Wait!

If you go to Suncoast, It pays to be a replay member. It's not that expensive 8.00/yr approx & you get back cash certificates - I've probably gotten back about 100.00 worth, so far. That helps to reduce the costs abit.

Yeah, it's really beginning to pay off for me. When they send out coupons for higher bonus points, :woohoo: , it's really nice. I already ordered 4.2 & I'll have the cash back certificates to pay for it from what I ordered/bought for Christmas!!

Dare I gloat? Me? bwahahaha <cough>
OK friendly 'Scaper Types. I have 4.1 From Best Buy. For 23.99.

So how can you get your very own, without paying $13 extra? I have no frelling clue [on many things...] There are 2 B/B on my way home the first one staffed by the disinterested. The disinterested grudgingly looked it up in the computer. Many of us know the B/B computer system is updated by monkeys. Or the disinterested. Or 1 human being chained to a desk, tormented by flying monkeys in suits. Ooops digression. Anyway the disinterested said to come back 12/23, when it's released. So I naively asked if anyone else had them. :ewink: The disinterested pointed to the screen and said, "Oh, We all have them, we just cant sell them till the 23rd." BINGO. I noticed that several of the stores were in fact selling the product, because their inventories were going down. 'Obviously other stores are selling them' "Well we're not till the 23rd, we could get in trouble." ROADBLOCK, [insert big sigh] OI.

Walk to the parking lot, zipping up my leather coat pulling on the leather gloves, and thinking "Evil Twin Time"

Next BestBuy. Stride into the store. Figure I'll cruise by the shelves first, before I find a female employee to con into actually looking in back.

I'm happy to see Box set after box set of S1 and S2 different S3's and... a cute young thang says "Can I help you?"

'naw, kid. You being here is enough.' <VBEG> as I pick one of 7 [!!] 4.1's sitting on the shelf. Nirvana.

Yes my friends, you may need to schmooze someone into going and looking IN THE STORE ROOM, you may have to work for your 13 bucks, but by-gum it CAN be done... :ewink:

'there are still 6 to be had at the Park Meadows BestBuy near Denver...'

My 4.1 has finally shipped but it seems like it should be here by now. I am going to go pray that it comes tomorrow.

Haha! I'm not even looking for 4.1 -- because I'm waiting for the season box sets -- and I stumbled across a copy today by accident. I was in a store called "fye" (one of those music-movie-videogame stores) and they had almost no DVD's, and only ONE Farscape DVD. It just HAPPENED to be 4.1.

*playfully mocks you all*

I got 4.1 on Saturday. I spent yesterday with Moya and the crew.

I watched the Rebecca Rigg commentary and found it interesting that she likened Grayza to Napoleon ... and that the open shirt was indicative of here I am, I am tough, try and stab me if you can ... like the warrior baring his chest to a potential foe.

The bloopers were okay although they :censored: beeped out everything that was said so that was a trifle disappointing ... this is on DVD for pity's sake! One hears much worse in movies every day.
I could see Claudia mouth the Aussie expletitive "Bloody hell!" which was bleeped out.

The Farscape story thus far was excellent although the words on the screen were only on for a very short time so it was difficult to read.

A noticeable absence were the deleted scenes which were supposed to be on DVD #1 but were missing.

It was wonderful seeing 5 episodes back to back with no ads.
I watched it twice :D
