Learn more about Aeryn's summer vacation--where was she? Are the people she works for looking for her?

Are the Peacekeepers and the Scarrens going to go to war? I mean, a group of fugitives sabotaging peace talks and blowing up a secret base can't keep two race's animosities at bay for long. Neither has an ultimate weapon just means the Scarrens still outnumber the Peacekeepers and have a better reason to hunt Moya's crew. Plus, Akhna must be pissed about her boyfriend.

What is going to happen to Grayza? Will she get what's coming to her or is she going to pull a Crais and try to join the crew (and hopefully get shot by Aeryn?)

Bring back Jool and explain a little more about the connection between Sebaceans, Humans and Interions.

Hmmm, i know what i DONT want to see J+A will they wont they stories.

They are in love, let them be, im not saying make life easy but dont pull them apart again.

If they need to do the whole shipper thing there are (at least) 2 other couples to play with. Id rather know if D'argo can ever compleatly trust Chi again than watch any more of the J+A get togerther/pull them apart/get togerther/pull apart story.

Also whats the deal with grandma? Who is this new race? What happened to the nebari?

Also i'd like it if J+A got themselves out or were unharmed and just called up to moya for a pickup and then we got on with the story.

Mostly I'd just love to see a good story.

With four stories for a mini-series they'll choose some overriding dramatic plot arc, most likely the impending war possibly breaking out to real war or real war breaking out to peace. However, that's a lot to cover in four parts, so it might just be another teaser with resolution only for some issues. I don't know whether this will allow for the Nebari/Nebari resistance plot points.

J/A ship will no doubt be well and fully addressed, although if they're looking to garner new audience for a possible full return (and they might not be, although they *should* do so) then they will avoid any full neat resolution. Keeping the unstoppable mega-couple one-kiss-apart/in crisis is a common truism of TV drama and veering from that is frequently seen as equalling the death of the drama.

That said, I very much hope that the rest of our dear friends don't become only supporting roles to this. And I'd really hate to see FarScape loose its "greys". It just seems to me that it would be all too easy to let all those wonderful deeper side-characters get superficial with just a few stories to go.

I want Chi taken care of. I don't want her pushed so much into the background or just being catty.
There's been several rumors that D'Argo was already ready to take on his "General" title for real, so I think that's in the offing.
I want Rygel to be dealt with as something more than a figure of flatulent fun. He's a complex character when written well, and I hope he stays that way.
Where was Stark at the end of the series? He's bound to appear in the mini.
What's the deal with Noranti? Will she be there?
What of Scorpius, Sikozu and Braca? Definitely anticipate them playing major roles. Scorpius certainly as he's another audience draw. Who will be the major antagonist here? A familiar face or something new?

A big question is whether the miniseries work from the end of the fourth season or take off in another direction?

They could deal with cubed J/A for the whole time, or it could (and most likely will) be dealt with very shortly or even in a few off-hand sentences like some of the previous cliff-hangers or even Scorpius' reappearance. Preparation and foresight, anyone?

-The meaning of the Arnesk tile: so long as it's got nothing in common with planet of the apes.

Well, a healthy and ambulatory John and Aeryn. Other than that, there are just too many open plot threads to deal with everything in four hours.

I still want to know what Aeryn was up to during her absence at the beginning of season four, and what Scorpius had to do with it. Chiana's blindness and emerging clairvoyance. The Human/Sebacean/Interon connection and Jool's work on Arnesk. The whole Skarran-Peacekeeper war. Where is the Scorpius and Sikozu ship going. What is the deal with Noranti, where is she from etc. The Nebari resistance and plague are both still out there.

These are just a few things and the four hour mini-series is not enough time to both resolve all the open plot lines and do justice to them. So other than reconstituting John and Aeryn from the folger crystal state, where ever they decide to go is good enough. Whether they chose to carry one or more plot lines a little further along or go in a completely new direction, either way is fine with me. More Farscape is good Farscape.

Personally, I'd like to see a 'few months later' start, where we actually can tell Aeryn is pregnant, I'd rather she a part story line of how she deals with that, than on again off again, god leave them alone already...

I think that the Farscape mini series will really bring closure to some of the unanswered questions...
I have a strong feeling that Jool will be in it. Scorpius & Sikozu obviously will be back. I would like to see more of Stark. He was heavily unused in the final four. I am aware that a scene was cut from Bad Timing, in which would have explained where he had been. Also that Zhaan's voice was gone. I hope that Zhaan will make an appearance. I really think that the writers have something up their sleaves for her. More Noranti and her background would be nice as well. Finally, Aeryn will have the baby. John and Aeryn will get married!

That makes too of us, I too hope Zhaan will make an appearance. Since it's only a mini-series with 4 eps this should be possible, it's science fiction so they are endless possibilities of bringing her back in a way.

I would like to see Scorpius show his true colors and become even more sinister, menacing and devious than he already is.
I'd like to see Scorpy and Sikozu become an item.
I'd like John to retrun to Earth covertly and let the Government see what the aliens John has met are capable of which leads to a change in human relationships worldwide.
I'd like to see Rygel take back his throne and his kingdom.
I would like to see Zhaan return even if it's an unrealized reality Zhaan that is different than the original.
And finally - I would like to see Aeryn and John become parents.

I want Chiana to be able to see again, and I want to find out more about the Nebari. It would be nice if D'Argo and Chiana were back together again....I'm an extreme J/A shipper, but the D/C thing needs attention as well.

Well, an extreme non-J/A 'Shipper here, so my take is quite the opposite - I don't mind them being a couple or in love, but please! no more will-they won't-they plots dominating the miniseries.

For the rest, I'd like to see:

- More Ahkna and her scary hat.
- Some good Harvey scenes.
-Scorpius and Sikozu
- And a lot more Braca
- And a bit of Grayza's backstory
- What happens to Chiana and Rygel
- And lots of aliens, strange planets and wonders. :)

All I want is a new story that matches the best 3-part epics they've done in the past. That means drama, action, comedy, and twists and turns we never see coming. Other than that, I'll leave the details to the cast and crew.

I know it might be a bit late in the game, but I would like to add my thoughts of what I was wishing for in the upcoming mini-series. I was hoping that they would be able to win me back to the show, but after seeing the cast list on imdb.com and hearing the flood of rumors, it doesn't look as if that is going to happen.

As a struggling screenwriter and watching the show with a screenwriters critical eye (I love rewriting my scripts and helping others with theirs) I was left with a lot of problems with Season 4 as taken literally (and linearly). There were too many plot holes, too many liberties at brushing off certain events and for me, the biggest sin of all; characters were altered to fit the plot (just look at DK's return to the series in "Terra Firma"). The one "scared truth" in screen writing (if there is one) is: Character is Story!

For me, the troubles I have with season 4 can be answered in two possible ways. Either there was an underlying story arc that was being played out over the entire season, but was never revealed to us or, the show had simply run into a slump of bad writing. I was praying it was the first.

My excitement for the mini-series was high when I first heard the
rumors flying about the web. I was actually giddy. Yes, giddy!

I had been wrestling over season 4 well before it even was over, trying to find an answer to my own nagging questions about what was going on. What were the producers thinking? Was there something else going on? A secret story waiting to be unveiled? I though about it all season, obsessing on the
minor details that needled me. I started looking at the entire fourth season like a giant puzzle. One massive story with a key hidden in it to unlock it's secrets. Then one day I thought I found it. The answer was simple while the repercussions on John's life would be dramatic and complicated in almost unimaginable ways.

I won't bother with my theory (this post is quickly getting longer that I thought it would anyway). I tried to explain it once before on another board and was quickly shot down by everyone there. And I do mean everyone.

But now with the speculation of the mini-series dealing with a
Peacekeeper War as well as the casting notice indicating that the story is going to be a straight on continuation of the one we just left (a few characters needed for my theory are missing and several unnecessary ones are present), it looks that my hopes of a personally satisfactory ending/ reveal have been squashed. I was wrong in my guess work of what might be going on and the
show (like John) has a new goal and has headed off in a different
direction.

I pray everyone who slugged it out in the battle with Sci-Fi gets
everything you wish and hope for. As for myself, I¹m just going to let it go and move on.

I was sorry to read your post and hear about your disappointment in season 4 and your resignation regarding the mini-series. Although you certainly have every right to your opinion regarding S4, I'm sure many on this board felt that it did not live up to the promise of previous seasons although certainly not as dismal as you make it out to be , but your pessimism about about the upcoming mini is baffling to say the least! simply because the casting choices for the new series do not coincide with those of your chosen plot line does not mean that the story may not be resolved to your satisfaction...your solution to season 4 may not be the only solution...
you must give credit to the people who have invested 4 years of their lives into the making of this show. and realise that there are people out there who are realistically invested in this show and have created it, flaws and all, and might, just might have a better insight into its characters and story arc.
I for one believe that the plot holes in season 4 were deliberate in preperation for season 5 and in the abscence of that ideal they will be resolved to the best of the writers abilities given the time constraint in the Mini.
Be fair man! if you are determined to condemn then for the sake of your own sence of justice as a writer wait until it has the show has aired.

I was surprised by season 4, it had a much darker view for me, As everyone else though im confused at half of the things going on, like why are certian characters back\missing but the writers know what they are doing as usual since it is their story and so far there hasnt been one episode for me that has been a let down.

Well in 4 hours that isnt much time but im hoping for one of these anyway:
Scorpius and Sikozu - there next objectives
Braca - for me hes started to become more of a main character in the last episodes instead of the badguys sidekick, I want more on him too!

Scarrens - the one with the hat and the one in the red, I want to know more about them

I expect J&A to appear after 10min of the first episode because of the amount of scapers being annoyed that there way no Aeryn at the start of season 4 since her role was so big.

I want a heck of alot more about stark and noranti though. I like starks craziness, but I want just to know where hes been and hopefully Jool will appear somewhere :)

I wont be unhappy if none of these happen, since I'm always impressed by the writers since im use to watching x files and good and evil fights that never end.

Anyway when the miniseries does appear, will it appear on sci fi, im from england, so all I got is sky, no cable.....


One major thing - I dont really expect Aeryn to have the baby, since how are they gonna look after it? There gonna have major problems when its born etc, so I'm expecting it to die or something. Its a thoery and thats it maybe in the full next season :)

I must confess I'm another person who has ... reservations about the miniseries after watching Season Four. I'm not a writer - except of the occasional fanfic - but I do have a fairly analytical mind and a background in studying English literature. And I agree with Saltpork, season four just had too much plain bad writing. What's more, since I'm a fan of characters other than J/A, I'm a bit worried how they're going to be treated. However I'm not going to criticise the miniseries in advance, and I'm not going to rain on anyone's parade.

I would really like the mini series to wrap things up, and have an ending that would not close the series down, but rather leave an open ending so there is a possibillity to get a 5th season when the time is right.

To be honest I'd probably like more Farscape even after a miniseries, heck maybe I would have wanted more after a 5th and 6th season (dreaming is allowed I hope ;))

However I fear that a possible ending scenario is that the Scarrans and the Peacekeepers will go at eachother, which isn't bad really, might be interesting. The bad thing is that I suspect that when these two fronts are at war, the Peacekeepers will allow these people to return to their homes, and that's what I fear, they will all go their seperate ways.

My hope is that the last thing we see is that they are rid of all their 'demons' (meaning nobody wants to take them in for anything, nobody wants the wormhole tech etc) and all are thinking about leaving, but then remembers that Moya has been their home and Pilot has been their 'host' and none of them manages to leave and decides to go up up and beyond.

The final conclusion/crescendo of the PK/Scarren Wormhole storyline... I want a truly rousing conclusion!

That, and a happy ending for John and Aeryn.
