Claudia on Sci-fi channel

Does anyone know what episodes of Hercules that Claudia Black is a guest star in? They are playing the reruns on Sci-Fi ALL the time. I am not crazy about Hercules or Xena, but I would love to watch the eps that Claudia was in. :dunno:

That's the one I tried to watch the other night. She finally came on during the trial just as I was ready to give up and turn it off. Unfortunately it was nothing more than her standing there in a gown giving a little speech that Hercules was a good guy. No acting involved really, so I really wouldn't bother suffering through it just for her 2 minutes spiel.

The "Atlantis" ep of Hercules features Claudia in a principal role (doing the best she can with the material, poor dear) so it's worth watching purely for the sake of seeing her in something other than (and presumably before) Farscape. But I agree with LadyCrais COMPLETELY! The minute that Claudia is on the screen in the "Hercules on Trial" ep is NOT worth sitting through the other 59 minutes. :hork:

I vaguely remember the Xena ep (that stupid time travel one where a valley girl becomes the ancient queen of the amazons), but IIRC Claudia had a pretty insignificant background role on that one as well. I doubt I'd sit through it again just to get a glimpse of OBRHG.

Haven't seen the Beastmaster ep.

Okay, this is just WEIRD. I had never heard of Claudia Black being on Xena or Hercules, but THIS MORNING I channel-surfed past the Oxygen channel and saw... Claudia Black! It was a Xena episode, presumably the one referenced above in which she played "Amazon #2." The ep was almost over, and I wouldn't have watched the whole thing anyway, so I didn't see what it was about. I have to say though that it's completely weird that it was on THIS morning, and that when I got on Frell Me Dead tonight to tell ya'll about it... there was a thread about it already, independent of the episode I saw today! Weird!

too bad she gets only these tiny, amazon roles (although she looks HOT as an amazon ;)). claudia is such a GREAT ACTRESS and i hate to see her typecasted. she definitely deserves more exposure and leading roles in more mainstream production (not that ANYTHING is wrong with sci-fi, I LOVE sci-fi).

any ideas on how we could help her get there?

dzelika, I believe all these roles on Herc, Xena and Beastmaster probably predate her Farscape days.

Also, according to Ben, Claudia DOESN'T EVEN HAVE an agent! But she's a big girl, it sounds like she wasn't looking very hard for work after Farscape but was willing to wait until *something* she wanted came along (looks like she got her wish too!). ;) It also sounds like, other than the mini-series, she may be focusing a bit more on her personal life at the moment (getting married and everything).

I think I see what you mean. Sci fi is great, but if you get pigeonholed as a Sci fi actor, you don't get hired for other stuff. And I think Ms. Black could play a wide variety of roles. (Since she is such a good actor, and part of that is the ability to play different roles).

And...I'm gonna come out here even if it means embarrassment. Man...everyone seems so anti-Xena. I LOVED that show. I thought it was a hilarious show, which was good because it DIDN'T take itself too seriously. It was unabashedly cheesy, and I loved it for that.

Didn't care much for Hercules though.
