How do you change the color for your posts? Or font, or font size? LOL I've tried a few times, but it doesn't like me, I don't think.

Thanks!

Don't use the quick reply window. Click the "post reply" box at the bottom of the posts and then it gives you a menu and you can italicize, bold, etc.

Yeah, I've tried that... see here I've chosen blue, and my text is not blue...why not?

You've got to put a at the end. Seems this program reads from right to left. Every has to have an equal and opposite

JadedLegend3

So... and then... yes?

For the final one, just leave out the "=royalblue" part and you should be good to go.

Just nest them. {color = royalblue}{size = 10} Blah, blah, blah...{/size}{/color} *just make sure and replace my "{}" with "[]" *

Is there an easier way. I know I ask for everything. I am easy to please. But this is cool to learn.

You don't have to use the post reply thing, you can just type etc. in the box at the bottom.

BrowderChick
12-11-2003, 09:12 PM
hmmm ok. But I noticed that when you use the post reply thing, you have the options there and I have used them but I can't get them to work together. It's either a color or a size. Not both.

COLORS

BrowderChick
12-11-2003, 09:15 PM
How long did it take to do that? And how many spaces?

talyn3
12-11-2003, 09:16 PM
BC- Just type it out {color=pink}{size=100000}{/size} {/color} You don't have to use the options thing.

I did a color tag, a size tag, a letter, then close the tags. Rinse, repeat. In the Post Reply menu, you can use the "Close Tags" option to cut down on time, instead of typing every time.

I added an extra space at the end of each tag so you could see the code, but this is it. Just take out the extra spaces and it becomes pretty colors.

Ok. tags are beyond me, I just type it out.

One other thing I didn't mention, if you see someone's post and think what they did was really cool, then quote it and see how they did it. I hate to give everyone's little secrets away, but that's how I do it...

Cool But for regular conversation, I wouldn't have time for all that. Just for fun stuff.

It is so cool though.

Jacqui, you know how to make these threads happen. Page 3 already. Sorry. This is cool and I did learn how to do this. I guess I need to sit and practice getting faster at it. But the time I get done with one word, three posts go by. :)

I figured out how to use the different colors and sizes a while ago but I don't use them very often.

BrowderChick

I dont think I will use them alot either. Unless I want to get noticed. But I can do that without the whoopla!!! :)
