Checking the members list, I noticed that someone (with a warped sense of humor, maybe?) registered as "KJB." :eh:
And put IGN.com as their website. :eek3:
I thought, "Nah---no way." D'ya think???????
No further comment. Just sayin' what I saw.

KJB is a contributing writer over at IGN who gave SaveFarscape.com some bad press several months ago - he essentially told us that Farscape was a lost cause, among other things...
<someone else please chime in...>

He's a reporter at IGN. Not long after Farscape was cancelled, KJB, wrote an article about the futility of Farscape fans trying to ressurect the show. Not only was his description of Farscape fans less than flattering, but the article contained several mistakes. He received a number (quite a large number IIRC :rollin: ) of emails from fans. At first, his responses were polite and professional. However, as the day wore on and the emails poured in, he began to loose his cool (people were posting his responses here), and finally just stopped answering.
However, over the months, he wrote a couple of articles about the effort to bring back the show. While they were pretty pesimistic in terms of us being successful, he at least began to get his facts straight. He was also the first to report about a possible mini-series. Other scifi web sites picked up his story. So actually, he has done quite a bit to get the name 'Farscape' out there.
Maybe we should send him a DVD or two. Then when the mini-series was ready to come out, he could help with advertising. Granted, he's no Matt Rousch, but then Matt was easy cos he already loved the show. This guy would be a challange. That makes it more interesting.
Maybe one of our New Year's resolutions should be to turn KJB around, turn him into a Scaper, and then maybe he would write some articles about the mini-series when it's ready to come out.

Yeah, I'm with VBKatLou on this. No need for being nasty. Farscape is a WONDERFUL show, and 'Scapers are *different* than typical scifi fans, and it's perfectly understandable that it takes Other People a while before they catch on to that.
