SFX receive Farscape press conference invitation

Not sure if this has been reported or indeed old news, but I was having a quick look in SFX today in WHSmiths and it had a tiny bit on the news pages with the headline FARSCAPE RETURNS! and the text was more or less - "just as we went to press, SFX received an invitation to attend a press conference about Farscape's return. More next issue.".

If this is old, I apologise (yes, I have known Red has confirmed Farscape is returning). But if the media is getting the invitations and they'll have more in the next issue (given that issues are monthly and they usually have to get it to the printers a week before the retail date) then can we expect a press conference in the next two weeks?

That's really interesting. I wonder when that went to press, though. It may have been the mid-November invitation to the press conference that was ultimately cancelled. Though, now that I think about it, I did hear rumblings that there was something ... and that was, hmm, probably a week or so ago.

Dunno.

Trust me, I want an official announcement as much as anybody. :aok:

That sounds like the SFX I picked up a few weeks back if I'm not mistaken. So imho it is more likely to the first press conference if you factor in the lead in print times.

If SFX is a monthly mag, then it is definitely the aborted one in Nov. Lead times for monthly mags is quite long.

It's such a strange experiance to be getting news before the national press. It's happened before in this campaign, and I'm sure it'll happen again. It's still weird.
