So I don't have a lot of money to buy Christmas presents this year...anyone have any ideas on fun things that I can make for people?

Depends on what they like. Try different food items. Fave things they like to eat or "do" something special for them like clean or cook for them if they can't do it themselves. Always great to "help" out someone at this time of the year.

you can also make coupons for stuff you'd be willing to do... make dinner one day, go out to lunch with friends... and you put redeem dates on them and stuff...

I made Christmas ornaments for all of my friends one year. I bought plain Christmas ball ornaments at Walmart, I think, and painted on them my friends' names and the date. Then I put little Christmasy stickers on them. They all really liked them.

Jul's idea is good, I was going to mention that, but she beat me to it! LOL

I'll keep thinking for you...

Give them the URL for the "pees in shower" thread.

Both can fail. I'd second guess Fermicat's suggestion too.

How about stealing? Have you considered shoplifting your gifts?

They always say that it's the thought that counts. So go up to the receipiant, close your eyes, squint and furrow you brow in their direction. Then say "you're welcome".

If you have some creative computer programs - I took pictures & made custom calendars for my friends & family (photos that were specifically for them) & really personalized it. That was a big hit - takes time & printer costs, but that's it.

If you can find solid colored - no theme -t-shirts or sweatshirts on sale - you play around with transfers (you can create & print out your own transfers on an ink jet printer) & fabric paints. That's personal & not too expensive.

The suggestions of the others (w/ exception to Stellar's:D) are good.

deja vu^^^^

Just give cash. It simplifies trying to think and be creative, straight to the point.

That sounds awesome...I'll have to definately look into that.

I just have to be careful not to make shirts that I think are funny, but that the rest of the world finds terribly offensive.
