Okay, we all know that Viggo Mortenson and Orlando Bloom are incredibly dreamy. But when I was watching Return of the King, I wasn't drawn to them so much as I was to Gandalf. Ian Mckellen plays him so well; he has such presence and confidence.

Is it creepy that if I didn't have a boyfriend and if Gandalf were real, and looked like Ian McKellen, that I would want to date him? I'm 22 by the way.

Does ANYONE else think he's HOT?

Ian McKellen is openly gay -- you know this don't you? Or is it the character of Gandalf you're into?

I like him AS Gandalf. I haven't been attracted to all the characters he's played, but I have always been blown away by his acting.

Yes, I did know that he's gay, but since I'll probably never meet the guy, and I have a boyfriend anyway, having a little crush is, in that respect, harmless. It's really kind of moot, since I know it's not really likely that I'd ever date ANY celebrity. (sp?). But I have my crushes anyway.

Everyone's entitled to a crush -- frell... I hold a special place in my heart for Fairuza Bulk. Does that make me weird? Well, yeah - probably... but I can dream, can't I?

Fairuza Balk is a talented young actress who has played in several movies - The Waterboy (the felon girlfriend), The Craft (I think), American History X, Dueces Wild, Island of Dr. Moreau, etc.

Thanks trinamick & grinner! Wow, she's had quite a lot of work for someone I've never seen or heard of. She looks kind of a like a goth Nicole Kidman in that pic on imdb.com. :D
