I think I should divest myself of all prior champions and work on stealing you from BC. Gotta love a guy with brains!

Thinks to self, self, that Stars has some pretty fine taste, yep, mighty fine. Finally, Stars admits the obvious, well, maybe not that obvious, obvious enough, to whom you might ask, well to me. Would mention something along the lines of 'all this and brains too' but it would just sound a little too, hm, what's the word, arrogant? cocky? no, I think I prefer self assured, yeah, self assured. Irregardless, would never even think of posting such a remark, nope, much too modest to even think of posting 'not to be mentioned' remark...

Not too modest to thumb nose at all the other greebols though, champions indeed... thinks Stars has been grossly misrepresented, really thinks of lack of championship material around thread, no ones fault really, but lack there is...

Calmly waits as he tries to ever so gently stir the thread up just a bit... http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0903/spezial/spudniks/spudnikserious.gif

Hey wait a microt! I didn't even mention anything about Stars dancing on elevated furniture, not wearing any cropped monkey pants :aok: and being in the close proximity, nay I say, even touching something that may or may not rhyme with 'Mole.' How could I have missed that? What? Oh, yeah, I guess I did mention it then, nevermind...

But alas, no dancing on elevated furniture while in the close proximity, nay I say, even touching what may or may not rhyme with 'Mole' smilie... I mean, come on people, how can we not have this smilie? What's up with that?

vanity, baths, certain types of dancing, even possessed animals, sure I can live with these, but please don't mention 'shower' in this thread, shudders thinking of 'other' thread, certain things are better left unknown. Me thinks 'I have a headache' is a perfectly acceptable answer, now...

But just what is going on here? Finally get even trubador on the right track and the thread dies? It just dies? Are we gonna sit back and let that happen? Let a certain someone off the hook, or really, out of hopping up on elevated furniture, not wearing any cropped monkey pants :aok: and dancing in the close proximity, nay, even touching, something that may or may not rhyme with 'Mole,' as it were...

While I cannot speak, er, post for everyone here, not that I'd really want to, all I can state is that I for one am no quitter! Are you?

I found the best time to arrive in Greece was either in late May or early June or mid-September. You miss the enervating heat of the summer (mostly) AND more importantly, you miss all the school children swamping the sites. Plus if you go in May/June you get all the wildflowers. Wow! Something magical about walking around ancient Greek sites that are covered with wildflowers...

Plus the food is awesome. Just outstanding.

If you are going to Santorini, make sure you spend a couple or three days on Mykonos. It is a beautiful island in its own right, (rent a scooter and drive around) but mostly it is the jumping off point for the archeological site of Delos. Which is not to be missed. (If you are interested in any kind of archeology...)

Ok. I will shut up now....

WOW! No need to shut up, Nicola. I've heard about avoiding the summer season (July/Aug) because of the heat, the tourists, and the massive influx of Greek and other European vacationers.

And 2004 is outta the question (not only for financial reasons, but also because of the Summer Olympics). But, one day..... ONE DAY..... (well, hopefully MORE than just "one" day :P ).

I had to look it up in an email he sent me and it is Hellas......He goes there with all his friends for dinner. They all do the weekend thing about once a month. I'm a sucker for wildflowers in the spring... we trek to Bear Valley (Calif) for a wildflower tour in a wagon drawn by a mule team. Bring the binocs for bird-watching, some yummy snacks---it's a lovely day.

And closer to where I live is Daffodil Hill, which I think has over a quarter-million bulbs planted now. It's quite a sight.

SPOILER SPACE for "Signs"

I think the biggest mistake M. Night made was actually showing the aliens. For most of the movie, he kept them just outta sight. But, I think the ending would've had a bigger impact if he held to that parameter. The film wasn't really about alien invasion, anyway... it was secondary to the whole driving motion of the flick.

The comic book character film of his (I forget the title... "Broken"???) didn't do much for me.

Sixth Sense, though.... :aok:

The police later determined the man was 'not in his right mind.'

Hmmm... ya think????
