I could while away the hours, conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain.
And my head I'd be scratchin' while
my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
I'd unravel every riddle for any individ'le,
In trouble or in pain.
With the thoughts you'll be thinkin'
you could be another Lincoln
If you only had a brain.
Oh, I could tell you why The ocean's near the shore.
I could think of things I never thunk before.
And then I'd sit, and think some more.
I would not be just a nothin' my head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry, life would be a ding-a-derry,
If I only had a brain.

Afterwards we decided we should've made a pool and bet how many times we'd hear the f-word. :fear:

And does anybody know what the heck a talking walnut has to do with Christmas????

It was kinda sad though... John Ritter was in it and everytime he was onscreen I felt a little pang... :cry2:

Then afterwards we had dinner at Macaroni Grill. I had penne pasta with shrimp, chicken, pancetta, capers, and Roma tomatoes in a parmesan cream sauce. A nice glass of white zin, a little bit of tiramisu for dessert, and leftovers for tomorrow's lunch or dinner.

If only the sun had been out, the day would've been perfect.

Well, you've got Sixth Sense, of course.

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend "Equilibrium." Christian Bale, intelligent story, great fight scenes. Starts off a little slow, but it does pick up steam. And once it does, it doesn't stop picking up steam until the very end.

What I thought was really great about the film was that the language was the same in NY as it is in London. It is subtle but you saying about your brother "road" story reminded me.
There were some differences like they call a termination of resusitation an 83, and we call it a ETO11, but many of the other slang terms are exactly the same, including some of the superstitions.
The characters, though a little exagerated, are very true to life. I know people like them.
