I just went thru my mail from yesterday, and got a notice from my former employer (the scums) regarding my 401-k company stock options.

I used to do computer tech support from the corp offices of KINKO'S :grr: . Had a decent amount of $ in pre-IPO company stocks in my 401-k plan (not all of the plan, though TG). Was originally at $18/share... now down to $15/share.

Well, FedEx is buying out the co. Within the next few months, once the sale is finalized, all my co. shares will convert to Money Market shares @ $37-$38/share!

YEAHHHHHHH!!!

I can now keep my original investment amount in my 401-k plan, sell off the rest (even taking the withdrawal penalty) and have enough cash in hand to pay off the rest of my cc debt (thanx in no small part to those scums in KINKOID-LAND

I AM HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

I'll just be skimming off the profit from the company sale/conversion on that 15%. My old 401-k plan investment ends up staying the same, and my new job has it's own plan which kicks in once I reach my 1-year anniv in early March (and will be retro-active to Jan 1st).
