Ouch, grinner! Sounds like she'd get along with my ex. He tried to bite through my ear. I stopped him ( :ewink: ) before he did too much damage, though.
Ear nibbling isn't bad. I'm a collar bone girl at heart.

Sorry... I'm a little onery (is that how you spell it?) today. Been a busy, busy, busy week at work. Rented & watched three different DVDs: Tomb Raider 2 (dear lord, that was boring); X-Men 2 (too long, and oh-so pretentious); and Spiderman (which I had never seen before, and was not impressed... really bad CGI and sloppy green-screen).

Hows the computer coming? Or just the keyboard?

It was just the keyboard. I tried to clean it (I even took it into the shower with me.... amazing how dirty it was), but eventually I had to concede defeat and replace it with a spare.
Moral of the story? Don't drink sticky fluids while allowing your cats to parade in front of the computer screen and knock over said drink.

Yeah well, that only works if the horse doesn't fall down too. Had that happen to me.
Actually, I've been knocked unconscious three times in my life, and two of them were horse-related. When I was eight my pony decided to go home and hightailed it across a (rural, 2-lane) highway, scaring the ever holy crap out of my mother.
And there happened to be a ditch between the big, empty field where I was riding and the road. So the pony goes head-down to cross the ditch, and I went flying onto my face onto the road.
The second time I was jumping my Arabian gelding (little fences, only about 3' high) and my sister's pony broke his crosstie and came running right in front of us as my horse was taking off. Apparently (based on the neighbors who saw it) the pony went running off, my horse & I turned nearly a complete somersault, and we were both knocked out as we hit the ground. When I came to I thought he was dead, and my right leg was pinned under him, still in the stirrup.
Again nearly scared my mom to death when I walked in and told her I thought Mardi (my horse) was dead. I guess I looked pretty bad.
Miraculously, my face didn't scar at all and only I can tell where my leg was torn to pieces.
And the riding helmet saved my life both times. Too bad I wasn't wearing it during the bike crash, might've saved myself another concussion.
Hee. Maybe that explains the swiss-cheese brain... :D

Nah. According to my mom ('cos by that time my leg felt all wobbly and I just wanted to go to sleep and she was threatening to drag me off to the hospital, and I didn't want to go, I just wanted a nap), all he had was a teeny tiny scratch on his nose.
He ate his dinner and everything, and she even asked me how to make him a bran mash with carrots (although maybe it was just checking to make sure I was only sleeping and not in a coma).

Actually learned how to play bridge in college myself, while waiting for a spot to open up on a table tennis table, not ping pong, you call it ping pong, and I'll spot you at least 12, maybe 15 points...
Still would rather have played tennis, but it rains so much in the mountains...
Frunium remembers time he was down point (That's 20) to 12 against some hack, but it was 2 out of 3 tourney, so who cares, then friends started ragging him, greebol didn't stand a chance, after reeling off 12 straight points for the win, aforementioned greebol didn't even bother playing the 2nd, and what was to be last, game for him...

Actually I have never had a problem with a horse. I grew up on a horse farm and had alot of experience with them. The only problem I had was when I was 9 I was in the indoor ring and a (jealous) employee decided to raise the alarm (eats time) and all the horses came running in and nearly trampled me. I was knocked down and my leg and foot got broken.

Oh, I can't hold back........ I LOVE PLAYING PING-PONG.

And just to show that occasionally the gray matter does function, the horse's name was Blackjack.
That's it!! The TRUTH finally comes out! Stars was completely traumatized, not to mention concussed, by a drannit of a horse, then, mere cycles later, she suffers a severe setback in her recovery when her mother, in a serious case of not realizing the traumatic effects that might incur, takes little Stars on a merry-go-round. As soon as the ride starts, Stars, eyes wide open, pale as a ghost, and prespiration on her forehead (Frunium remembers that ladies don't sweat, they prespire), suddenly clutches the only thing in her blurry line of vision, a POLE! Yes, I said POLE! Now it really does all make sense, that POLE became a symbol of sheer fear, and shock, not to mention maybe just a little pain, from not only her memory of being pinned by the original horse, but also that in the frenzy to grab desperately at the POLE she slammed her tiny little head into it (the POLE) and quite possibly suffered yet another concussion, (and possibly putting her on par with Frunium on number of concussions). Thus, because of these events, going all the way back to a drannit of a horse, we, yes I did include all, cannot see Stars dancing around anything that rhymes, or not rhymes with Mole! Should have made a detective...

I don't wear a helmet, unless of course a baseball cap counts. Thankfully, I've never hit my head coming off a horse. I really have no desire to be like Christopher Reeves. I did have a horse lay down with me in the river once. That'll wake ya up pretty quick!
I have a couple of nice scars from a nasty spill. My horse tried to take me through a fence when I was about 15. I got her turned, but in the meantime got a foot caught in the stirrup. I managed to kick free, but she started to take me into the canyon. It was that or the fence, and neither option seemed great to me, so I bailed off. My brother's horse was right behind me, so when I hit the ground, I curled up in a ball. My brother's horse jumped me, missing my head by about 6 inches. Not an experience I choose to repeat.
The horse I have now is much more trustworthy. He acts up some if he can get by with it, but that's half the fun! At least he still has the energy to act up! :D

Weak. Whoever had the limbo-accident idea was much more clever.

So close, oh so very close,...
Just shows you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink...
Begins to think Stars is even more hard headed, no, wait, I meant, uh, willful, than my half Lab -Beagle puppy...
And if that horse, however gentle, kind, obedient, whatever, is the sole reason for Stars' reluctance, then a drannit he is...
And the lame limbo accident? what is this? Taking another swipe? Well, let me tell you Ms. I didn't type 'who' but 'to' in my post, there was absolutely no embellishing of the supposed facts, just a statement, don't tell me you can be so enamored with such a shallow little post, there was no plot, no direction, the theme music was awful, lighting so bad I needed a lighter to see the suppposed punch line, not that there was one, and the acting? they couldn't get a job pantomiming to old Blind Pew!
