I need to rant today.......

Its pouring. I mean POURING. I have a river under my car. I get Cami ready for school and in the rush to get her in the car, I get soaked. Drenched. Sorry..Grey shirt on. Anyways... I get her in the car and go to open the trunk to get an umbrella out and dropped my keys. I now have to step into the river to look for them. My feet are soaked and my hand is past the wrist in muddy water. I found them and grabbed the umbrella. Taking her to school was a bigger challenge. The road out front is pretty much flooded up to the doors. Im watching cars go buy and getting stuck in the middle of "Lake Erie". I decided to pull further down the road where it isnt so bad and pulled up onto the curb. I get her out and we rush down the block to the side door of the school. Of course she has to stomp in every puddle to get there. Glad she has a spare pair of socks and sneakers in her backpack. Got her to class and got her feet dry and clean. Whew... Now time to go back out in the rain. I grab my umbrella and rush out the door. It stopped raining. So I walk to my car and low and behold... Some A$$ flies by and soaks me yet again. I get in and go home. I have to go back out in a little while. Grumblegrumblegrumble. Oh wait...its pouring again. :g2f: :g2f: :g2f:

We got all the rain and nastiness yesterday --- on Easter Sunday. It started out overcast and about 65 degrees. By 3:00 in the afternoon, it was pouring down rain and the temp had dropped to about 46 degrees. And it was a COOOOOOLD rain!!!!

Today, the sun is shining, the temp is around 68-70 degrees. What a beautiful day for me to go and get all of my stuff for this Friday.

It was good ... it's just one of those mental things on my part. Like how I would never read the Lord of the Rings books, because Gollum in the cartoon "Hobbit" movie freaked me out so badly when I was a kid. Or how I won't watch Willy Wonka because I was traumatized by the one little girl turning blue and blowing up like a balloon. I had nightmares about that for weeks when I was a kid ...

Yeah, but to a little kid, it was still scary, whether she deserved it or not. I had dreams of becoming a big blue balloon, and I'd wake up terrified.

When I think about it, maybe that's one of the reasons I don't like the color blue very much ...
