I just watched this episode for the first time and was wondering what everyone thought about the episode?. ( note: I haven't seen anything beyond this episode)
This is one of those episodes thats off the main story line a bit and I'm still loving it but dieing for some other issues to get resolved.
I found it odd that Rygel was the one improvising plans and ideas while Crichton was following his lead.
I have to say just when you think it can't get any funnier.. Rygel and Crichton dress up like women :D The whole conversation about women's clothing and how John didn't want to wear it.. maybe if it was black cause black is a slimming color.. and Rygel saying he wore purple all the time..
Aeryn using English again.. Why doesn't John want her to use it?.. I'm assuming he's still upset about the whole baby/Aeryn (Crichton is killing me here.. I want them to get together..) relationship in general still.. but I noticed no flashes of her in this episode for John (something to do with the links?)
"Dr. Snot" was kinda annoying but Rygel took care of that...
Scorpius coming to the rescue was good but then again, like with his clone he'll do anything to safeguard John.. Its kinda disturbing and hard to trust him when he just snaps someones neck like that even if its for the right reasons.

I really liked CBC.....it was one of the few episodes where Sikozu and Scorpy's actions for the good are beyond dispute :D

yeah, who knew that Rygel could be such a "man of action". It was pretty nice to see the usual roles reversed.
I always figured that Crichton didn't like Aeryn speaking English because it brought up disturbing thoughts about what it may like to be together. (Notice how in "A Prefect Murder" he had to take Lakka after she tried to speak English.)
Scorpy never ceases to be fascinating.
I thought that Crichton and Rygel were hilarious as women. (Hell, we couldn't blend in on "butt-ugly" night!) heh heh.
I liked that nice little "aha" moment that Chiana gets after the mechanic tells her you have to be a frelling optimist to be in the resistance movement. You can just about see the light-bulb click on over her head, as she suddenly gets an insight into what makes her brother tick.
It was nice to still see some stand alone episodes, even after all the angst of the story arcs in the past three seasons.

I've only see the episode once but I never made the Chiana connection.. good pickup on your part (I love stuff like that you can get from watching episodes again)
I noticed in this episode he was lacking Lakka (heh).. so thats why he spoke up..
Rygel and Crichton.. all I can add is "Girl Power!".. the pulse pistol show Crichton put on was nice :)
and.. I agree with the stand alone episodes comment.. whats really great is they don't take away from the main story, they usually add in their own little way

I think this is one of the under-rated episodes of this season. Most fans seem to have trouble getting past the body fluids and various "earthy" body functions presented in this episode -- either because they hate it all and find it offensive, or because it's all funny and that's all they think it is about. There's actually a lot going on in this episode.

I agree..
I think thats whats great about Farscape, that it can be serious and funny too.
The whole bodily fluids thing.. I noticed at the end of the episode they steered clear of it... i'm just glad Aeryn and John didn't eat the same colour...

Like I always say whenever I talk about this episode but the doctor always reminds me of a co-worker.

You are so right!
I missed it this time around, and have only seen it once, so I don't remember Scorpy's actions, but Sikozu was quite a heroine in this ep. Letting her hand be cut off (or was it finger(s)?) so that Aeryn wouldn't be tortured is a very courageous, and beautiful act on her part. I actually really liked her in this ep...and she's growing on me more and more.
