There are a fair few turning points, but people - DO NOT FORGET SPOILER WARNINGS. With a few people here just getting into Farscape, we don't want to spoil things for them, do we?

Definitely DNA Mad Scientist. Very key episode.

Season 4 - A ton of them have bits I would consider turning points but the main ones were Unrealized Territory, Kansas, Terra Firma, and Bad Timing..

Hehee, that's "Unrealized Reality." And "Durka Returns" should be on the list for season 1, having introduced Chiana. You also need "Crichton Kicks" and "Prayer" from season 4.

For Season 1, I would add The Flax where John and Aeryn first acknowledge their attraction for one another and They've Got a Secret both for the onset of Moya's pregenacy and backstory on D'Argo. I pretty much agree with the rest of the suggestions so far.

CK-WWL: Jool leaves, Grayza is shown in command and Scorpius fate after the CC is shown. It would have been a lot better with the deleted stuff I've seen but it still is an essential part of the arc.
The choice is also an important Aeryn episode.
Thinking of introducing someone to the show?

I actually want to make wallpapers for each season and wanted to highlight the important turning points for each. The suggestions so far have been very helpful, keep them coming!

I would add Season three thanks for Sharing (so that we know about the crew split between the ships). Also Chricton Kicks for Season 4 for the introduction of new peeps. In both cases however it is only the one element that is key so you probably don't need the entire eppy.
Tried to keep it vague for newbies.

The funny thing about Farscape and the way it's written is that the turning points don't come across a single episode or two (or three as O'Bannon is fond of doing). Rather, they occur across a single scene. In "Twice Shy", there is a 5 minute scene (carried over from Terra Firma after Aeryn catches Noranti putting distillate of Lacquer in Johns quarters) where John and Aeryn have it out, and Aeryn realizes John still loves her, but can't show it out of fear of Scorpius. That took a total of 10 minutes, but everything before that and everything after that pivoted on that scene.
Another good example is just a few episodes later, in "Bringing Home The Beacon". The viewer is blisfully ignorant of what's going on, but Aeryn is replaced with a bioloid, and John realizes it when the bioloid fails to respond with any knowledge of "Baby" (because nobody knows outside of a few people on the ship). It set up the next five episodes.
There are times I fire up Farscape just to watch a few scenes. My favorite is still the scene from "La Bomba" where John tries to get a bidding war going between the Peacekeepers and Scarrans. "Free set of steak knives" indeed.
LoL nice sig u got there thelizman, it cracks me up.
