Hey Tox - I'll let you have some of my Farscape eps. They're free the first time, but after that, it's gonna cost ya. :ewink: :rollin:

Oh yeah? You think you got it bad. I haven't seen any eps since the final episode. Dern lack of Farscape DVD budget.

Well I am not a "member" of the group but I will say HI :hi:

But I can add that I was po'd last night that I missed half of FS because of the time change that SciFi seems to be so pround of.

And what is up with the 3am thing for Thursday......?

I used to go to meetings, then I saw Marla there. Marla -- the big tourist. The faker. She never even watched the show.

Marla? Apparently I need a smilie that shows the big swoosh as jokes pass right over my confused head. Hmmmmmm...

And BrowderChick, I missed all but the last 2 minutes of last night's FS thanks to not checking the schedule. I'm glad it's on earlier now, though.

You're really missing out. There's actually very little fighting in the movie. It's a very dialogue-heavy movie.

Very little fighting? Um....I really liked the movie, but it was very violent.:D :whip:

Thanks all, I got my fix last night! Slipped the Mrs an episode before she knew what I was doing - episode 2-9 "Out of Their Minds". When she regained consciousness, she said "I don't know what you did to me... but I like it! MORE!".

WOOHOO!!

Oh, and Fight Club - very strange movie indeed. Not bad at all :)

Fight Club is a really good movie... I do not agree that it is much violence in it. If you think go watch Ichi the Killer or something, there you have a violent movie :) (its good though, sick and distrubing, but if you can see it for what it really is its good)

Not to drag this off topic--this is FARSCAPE Anonymous, after all-- but yes, what I was saying is there are actually only a couple of scenes in Fight Club when they're fighting. And those are pretty vioent, put it's only a small part of the story. Calling it a movie where guys pointlessly punch each other makes it sound like a Jean Claude Van Dam movie.

People shoot and kill each other on Farscape, there's even a character that EATS EYES, but there's much more to the story, isn't there?

*** Possible Spoiler ***

Speaking of violence, I'm surprised that Crichton shot the bizzaro Jool in the alternate reality - you know the one - where he's trying to find Aeryn late in season 4. He was very true to his character up till that point. I thought it was a very mercinary thing to do.

Well, she WAS shooting at him. He didn't shoot till she shot first (several times). Not to justify JC's violence particularly. He is a "flawed" hero and his increasing use of violence in his new "life" has certainly changed him as a person.

Well, there you go - how desperate are you?

It's OK to admit it. If we were in your shoes, we'd have already gone to amazon and done the deed. So - you are to be admired for your restraint! ;)

The only thing that has stopped me so far is the incredible lack of cash, following the festive season. I would turn to a life of crime to get my fix if the last 4 episodes were available in Perth. I'm just going to have to wait till pay day...

it's not easy...
