Okay, folks – I was attempting to Scape someone the other day and made a reference to “Scapers” which provoked the obvious question: “What is a ‘Scaper?’” Once I explained it to them it dawned on me that there’s a lot of terminology in regards to the Scaper community. So I decided to start this little thread to see just what terms are out there in regards to us – well… besides words like “psychotic” and “insane” that is –

Scaper – Pretty much anyone who is a huge fan of Farscape

Shipper – Someone who enjoys Farscape for the relationships and the romantic entanglements.

Newbie – Anyone who is new to the show or has not seen the complete series.

– That’s all I could come with off the top of my head. Are there any more out there?

ADD: Are you looking for slang or just terms meaning Scaper?

Just words or phrases that the community uses in reference to itself -- like how Star Trek has Trekkers and Trekkies.

Were you around during the "Great Scape-Off?" Where Henson tried to legally take the word away from the fans -- That was a mess. I think we've earned the name at this point.

There was a thread sort of like this a while ago. I'll try to find it.
