All of the above, but I voted for books. I think that would be the best way of passing the time until the mini comes out. I haven't read any yet, but I just ordered House of Cards from amazon. From the reviews I've read, it's the only one so far worth reading.

i think books if they are written by the Farscape writers as a few of the ones at the moment are dren, I think the rygel plush was cancelled?

I don't know that the plush Rygel's were cancelled, only pushed back yet again, until June.

A fourth book was written by Keith DeCandido (the guy who wrote the only Farscape book worth reading -- The House Of Cards), but TOR Books and Henson could not come to an agreement about it, and so far TOR has no plans to publish it. (By the way, Mr. DeCandido is a FAN of Farscape, and has occasionally in the past posted at the DOM.)

What grapeshot says is true; KRAD is one of us.

Publishers have very narrow boundaries concerning what an author can and cannot write in a "TV Tie-in" novel. They cannot change the storyline of the story (although some do by accident) -- no killing off major characters, for instance. When you think about it, there is not a lot you can do with characters that won't change them in some way. And for some strange reason they veer away from the romantic couplings, though they are central to the flavor of most shows. From a writer's perspective...not a lot of fun to write, when so reigned in. It's no wonder the books have an "off" feeling.

My favorite merch is the little DRDs -- you know, the "Bag of DRDs?" I love sticking them here and there. We hung one on the tree this year.

Thanks for the info, grapeshot. I hope that the novel does eventually get published. That's also very cool about the author posting at the DOM.
