View Full Version : Where's the news?
Woke up this morning, there was no newspaper outside as there should be.
Oh well, I figure. I'll get one later on.
I then proceed to go take a shower, take a glance out my window, and what do I see?

Note: That's my newspaper on the roof. Whoever delivers my papers needs to check his aim next time, heheh.

LOL! That's great! You should send that photo somewhere...to one of those places that makes things out of silly pictures like that...
Okay, maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about...I'm only on my first cup of coffee!

Well, I've seen that happen in the movies, but not real life. :rollin:

Perhaps the newspaper carrier was expecting a HUGE snowfall, so you'd have to reach your paper out your second floor window?

Your going to have to wait till the "spring thaw" to get that one! :rollin:
Interesting sidenote... the carrier actually came back this morning and took it off the roof with a shovel!
He left a note on the paper saying he was sorry.
Ahh, Canada =D

Did you have to call and complain or something? If not ... I'd say that carrier deserves a tip!! You would *never* find someone like that around here!!!

So was it the Globe, Star, or Citizen?

The Globe, of course.
The Citizen is junk, it just runs the stories from the horrible National Post which gets dumped all over my university campus to try and increase their circulation numbers.
Now they're dumping the Citizen on us too.
Horrible junk, those papers. :D

I have actually gone looking for mine as i have a huge bush in front. Couldn;t find it and then I went back inside and saw that it was sitting on my windowsill stacked on top of the day befores paper. Makes me wonder sometimes if the guy was being nice to keep it off the ground or if he was a peeping tom.

I have two dogs, but well, they're miniature dachshunds and they're not really what you'd call 'retrievers'. :D
