disclaimer: warning: helping these folks will in no way help the Farscape campaign.

Children's Art Network needs help (http://homepage.mac.com/agraham999/can/)

Children's Art Network (a non-profit organization) was formed in 1993 to serve the children, educators, and public schools of the Shenandoah Valley, VA. Because of financial and time restraints our schools are limited in their ability to offer a breath of art education opportunities that our children both need and deserve.....Because our Traveling Studio Programs are outreach in nature, we are able to reach children who would have little or no exposure to art were it not for our efforts. Without ever leaving the Shenandoah Valley, Studio participants explore everything from Chinese calligraphy to ancient Greek coins. They have the opportunity to work on a potter's wheel, make an Egyptian sarcophagus and create a Mayan jaguar....

have an Apple product lyin' around? thinking about upgrading to the new G4 and don't know what to do with your iBook? (not bad for a pc user, huh, huh?) and yeah, he specifically doesn't ask for money, but i'd bet that if CAN got a mysterious check in the mail, they wouldn't turn it away.

drop Alan an email and see if you can't help these kids out.

art is the pursuit of things greater than ourselves.

like love.

and friendship.

like Farscape.
