A couple of months ago, looking for as many farscape dvd's as I could get my greedy little hands on, I came across a listing on yahoo auctions for The complete published episodes of farscape with a starting bid of 45 dollars. I won the bid at 75 and what I later recieved was 5 self published dvd's of all episodes as they aired on bbc. Now as I surf the auctions, I find it again:

http://page.auctions.shopping.yahoo.com/auction/83867426?aucview=0x23

I also notice he is selling other series. For anyone who is conteplating buying these, keep in mind that these are pirate copies. The one thing I will say is he has taken the jpgs off his site showing the actual dvd covers.

By the way, since then I have purchased all the farscape dvd's currently offered by ADV.

I never used yahoo's auction. I wonder if they are aware of this?

i don't know about yahoo's auctions, but there's ways to describe an auction that'll get by the censors and then there's ways that a valid auction will get flagged. it's all in the word choice that's making what's posted 'legal'.

but you do have to be careful what you bid for. besides, if you like a show, why not support it by giving credit where credit is due (buying official merchandise)?
