Quiznos commercials

Anyone seen the creepy new Quiznos commericials with the weird little fetal type hamster things? Have any idea what kind of advertising tactic that's supposed to be? Cause everytime I see the commericial, I'm vaguely nauseated and COMPLETELY creeped out. And...not in the mood for subs.

I agree, and what the hell are those things anyway? They scare me and make me never ever want to step foot in a quiznos again! Gross!

I saw these for the first time on Tuesday when I had a couple of friends over for dinner. One of them started laughing hysterically, and now I chuckle about that every time the commercial comes on. What exactly are those supposed to be? They kinda freak me out too!

At first these commericals made me feel strange but now that I have seen them about 20 times they make me laugh and sing along.

My curiosity got the better of me and I went to Quizno's website. According the the press release about this add compaign that wanted to do something very odd that would get people talking and the song stuck in their head, which has happened to me.

Also according to the press release those things are monkeys?!

I saw the creepy hampster ad the other night and I was mesmerized. Even now I am laughing. They reminded me of this thing on the internet last year - it was some band like the Hives or the Vines (sorry get some of these new bands mixed up - can you hear my rocking chair creaking?)...anyhow, there were these cats with guitars playing and singing to one of their songs. Then VH1 started having station id spots with the same sort of animation. And now this. What's next?:lol

I saw the Quiznos commercial for the first time last night (after actually having had a Quiznos sub yesterday and the day before, which was the first time I'd eaten there). I thought the singing freaky things were hysterical and just assumed that they were intended to be weird enough that anyone who caught a glimpse of the tv would HAVE to come and watch to figure out what it was (which I never did).

They didn't creep me out at all, just made me wonder and made me laugh. :lol

I had NO idea what y'all were talking about until the commercial came online at work last night and with me standing in complete awe and mild disgust. Someone asked what the hell those things were and I remembered your post and called them hypnotic demonic fetal hamstermonkeys and the general consensus was that that's exactly what they were.

Yee gads.....at first I thouht maybe they were weird corn chips or flakes...then hairy things on a stick...aaaahhhh then i'm thinking they must be using the mice for minced meat....not appealing at all but very appaulling....I'll never eat any subway or quizzno's either after that commercial....I think I was watching skiffy tonite...that was the first time I've ever seen that commercial, not good for the for the food industry....first we have mad cow. And probably every other person on earth has seen this before, but this nearly made me pull something last night after a coworker told me about it. Warning, it's rude and crude, but terribly funny. The pornolizer. Go to www.pornolize.com and put in a url, and it sort of randomly puts in porn nicknames and random phrases. Really hilarious when you go to sites with lots of bios. It's like your web page with... well, I hesitate to say Tourettes... more like a severe social disorder. We looked at our helpdesk page with it, and well, by golly, it said some things about some viruses that we've all been itching to say.
