Hey! I was browsing my Tivo just this evening and discovered that Showtime Beyond was broadcasting Joe Ahearne's recent series 'Strange'.

Ahearne, of course was the creator of the most excellent Vampire-cum-Police Procedural 'Ultraviolet (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-4940/)' back in 1998, and this show got a few accolades when it was broadcast on BBC1(!) last year. Sadly, it doesn't look like this one is going to come back, but if you've got Showtime Beyond, try to give it a look.

Here's the link to the BBC Cult webpage about 'Strange (http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/strange/)', and I'll come back later, and see if I can't post the schedule.

Granted, I was a litlle underwhelmed by the Pilot episode, but I suppose I can both wait it out and/or watch it again...

Lynda LaPlante's first episode of 'Killer Net (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0127383/)' (1998) was a bit more compelling than this was, granted all latter's inaccuracies and technical misunderstandings...

Still, I'm willing to give it a go.
