This is my first attempt at fanfiction. Until seeing farscape all the way up through season 4, nothing had ever inspired me to write anything with someone else's characters -- but then again, nothing had ever demanded it so much as the cliffhanger ending. Of course, I was one of the lucky ones: I didn't see the last episode until very recently, and news the miniseries was already out. Even still, I needed something to tide me over until it airs (whenever the heck that will be) and I figure it might as well be by writing the story the way I would want it to go. Crichton seeing Earth again, but with plenty of laughs and shooting things along the way.

You're off to very good start! You just have to promise to finish... no permanent cliff hangers! I'm enjoying your story - nice writing! Thanks for taking the plunge!!:aok: :aok:

Now there's a hanging ep for you! Great Farscape ending to this chapter!! Nice job.

Geez, I can't believe this is your first attempt at fanfic - if my first attempts at something new went so well - I'd be doing a lot of new "somethings".

Keep 'em coming - we'll be here waiting!!

Well I have yet to see evdience that there's more than one person reading this story from this board. :rollin: But here's chapter 3 anyway.

As for the 1st attempt thing... this is just my first shot at fanfiction. Regular old fiction is a hobby of mine, and people tell me I'm good at it. I don't argue. ;) I was just never inspired to actually take the irreversable "you are now a bona-fide sci-fi geek" fanfic-writing plunge--until seeing all of Farscape straight through in a two-week DVD binge.

I think I frelled with my own mind.
