Sitting here and remembering the standing party I had at my house whenever there was a new Farscape. Drink, food, outlandishness. Dozens of people filtered through my door. All in the name of Farscape. Good times, good times.
Did any of you guys have parties for Farscape?

I didn't have parties, but my boyfriend and I always watched the show together. I miss it. :(

No parties at my house either, but my mom and I used to watch together, and I always got a creative rush after watching a new episode. I miss my Farscape Fridays. :cry2:

Since I didn't start watching until about mid-way through the third season I didn't have parties. Plus, I work every other Friday. But, My wife and I tape every ep now and we watch them together.

actually i don't really like to watch my favorite shows w/other people. they always want to talk & all i want to do is watch the show. after it's over, well that's a different story. they can talk all they want.

Everyone i know hates Simon except my sister & I.
We actually like him, he says what SOME people are thinking. I agree though that he can go to far sometimes. It always seems it's the girls he tells to lose weight & never the guys.

I don't like Simon either. He's too mean. I miss those Farscape Fridays. I used to watch Farscape with my Dad when he was still alive and I visited him.I also watched it with the kids and my husband. So now I watch it on the DVDS with my family. Though wish I could still watch it with my Dad. He died two years ago so he never got to see season 4. :bawl:

My sister and I still have Farscape Firdays and we will either pop in a tape or a DVD of whatever ep we want to watch. We even keep traditions going that we started when there were new eps such as having pizza and ice cream on Firdays!
I really don't think he is all that mean. He can be a little rude and blunt sometimes, but I don't think he does it maliciously. Most of the time he says think that makes sense for the person (and of course Fox will only show the nastier ones he says.)
Myself, there's not too many things I watch in groups (besides large sporting events like Red Wing playoff games) but I have been going over and watching Babylon 5 with my brother and dad.

Sometimes he is mean. I don't watch the show much, but I have seen him make people cry before. Telling the truth about a person's singing abilities and being nasty to them don't have to be the same thing.
I also miss Farscape Fridays. I didn't watch it with anyone else, but still, it was something to look forward to at the end of the week. There is hardly anything else to watch on Friday nights that's worth the time.

i used to get togethern w/some guys when i was in college every time B5 was on - it was so fun!
i also saw Farscape occasionally w/some 'locals', but everyone there was a fan and knew when to behave!

I wish I had gotten into Farscape early enough to find myself throwing Farscape parties... but I didn't start watching until 'Prayer'... so er... yeah.
And besides, I'm only 16... the parties would be rather unentertaining. :whip:
