To change your avatar:

FIRST: Right click on the image you want to use as your avatar and save it to your computer.

1) Click on USER CP (upper righthand corner)
2) Click on Edit Options
3) Click on Change Avatar
4) Click on Browse...
5) Navigate to the file you saved, click on it, and click Open
6) Click Submit Modifications

You should be all set.

i'm having a bit of trouble, i followed ur instructions and it sed it is not a GIF or JPG file and i have to change it so it is. wot does dat mean?

When you right clicked on the image and saved it to your computer what did you name it? Try saving the image as 1.jpg and then resetting it as your avatar using the instructions above again.

nope still not workin, it say its not a valid JPG and to change it. is this not workin coz my computer to crap 2 handle it , it is pretty ancient :)

hmmmm... I'm not really sure why it won't work. It's the right size, it's a valid jpg otherwise I wouldn't have been able to post it to the forum. Let me think about it and get back to you. For now, just play around with it, maybe you can get it to work?

Sometimes, when I aquire an image from this forum, it downloads as a file with a .php extension.
Perhaps that is the difficulty that you are experiencing.
