has SciFi been broadcasting some really lame shows lately. It seems the caliber of films on that channel are just plain bad. Last night was Creature pt 1 & 2, last week Dragon Storm. Yeck.
phoooy. Real class B stuff.
Also has anyone heard anything more on the upcoming FIREFLY movie? Is it going to be made?
Has anyone seen The Butterfly Effect? What are your opinions of the movie?:rollin:

actually Skiffy has been showing this stuff for at least 7 years. It was only rarely that they had decent shows on.

Most of us could eat a TV Guide and crap out a better schedule. The SciFi Channel boasts TV for the lowest common denominator. They've had some great shows (obviously) but they aim to get rid of those as soon as they can. I'm pretty sure somewhere on their mission statement it reads: we vow that no less then 96% of our programming is complete and utter trash. That's the SciFi guarantee.™

OMG, my coworkers would be staring at me if they hadn't gone home already (wusses). Thanks once again for providing the fodder for a good belly laugh.

I can't wait until Skiffy's QL marathon. Only, they'll probably just show the same old episodes, none of the rarely shown ones.

well, maybe it was because I was sick, but I definetly watched scifi all day last wednesday. Sliders, then five eps of Star Trek, then X-Files, Hercules (well, I was sick...), and Stargate...that is not such a bad schedule...
but then again, that was the daytime schedule...and they suck at most other times.
yes the state of there produced movies is kinda sad except for dune and cube 1 i cant think of any good ones :)

The movie was produced by Tri-Mark... who decided to NOT release it until 1999 when it went DIRECT TO VIDEO. That is when Skiffy showed it. Late 1999

I'll give it a shot because the original download was funny. If it is good I will keep watching, and if it isn't then I will stop.

It didn't sound that great to me, so I probably won't watch it.
