Ok - I'm never been into perfume or anything - but besides shampoo - are there really scented oils for hair like they reference in Farscape? If so - what can anyone tell me about them? If not, any really good scented shampoos - that aren't overwhelming, but actually smell enticing?

Um, I'm guessing that maybe she put something like perfume in it. I've never heard of scents marketed specifically for hair. Personally, I think Dove shampoo smells great, or something with a slight citrus scent. I was actually complemented for my perfume (Clinique Happy) today at school when a guy asked me what I was wearing because it smelled nice :D Some people think the Herbal Essences shampoos smell nice, if you like that kind of smell.

I like shampoo with a citrus scent or something with flowers. Bath and Body Works also has conditioners with some great scents. My current favorite is sandlewood rose. Sometimes they can be a bit pricey, but then they have good sales once in a while.

Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi shampoo smells so clean and fresh. Love that stuff.

I am into perfume so I don't like anything (shampoo, hair spray, deoderant) clashing with it. I usually use Pantene or Redkin (unscented)

I use Herbal Essences shampoos. Alas, it does not have the same affect on me as it does to the women in the commercials. :ewink:

I love the citrus and something (can't remember what) St. Ives stuff. It's the clarifying stuff. Not sure why my hair needs clarifying, but it sure smells good.
Oh, and I don't like Herbal Essances. They always smell like rose hips to me. It's a weird smell.

I actually bought a scented oil infuser from Garden Botanika a few years ago. The oils were custom mixed and all I had to do was attach the infuser to the nozzle of my hairdryer and it scented my hair nicely. Unfortunately, I broke the frelling thing trying to attach it too my new hairdryer (at the time) :( The company has closed up shop, and the online store doesn't offer it.
Oooh! oooh! I found another one from the Apothocary Shoppe! http://apothecary-shoppe.com/product_info.php?products_id=742 It sounds similar to the one I used to have! :) Hmmmm, must go get one...

I use scented oil in my hair. :D
It's actually a cuticle sealer (K pak), but it's oily and it's scented. That counts, right?

I find a hint of english lavender and ylang ylang mixed together has a very alluring subdued essence that it leaves in the air when you walk by. It is very faint but erotic....or so I've been told.
Our shop also closed here in Indy.
I just put some on my temples and under my hair line...:kitty:

huh...
i've heard that if you enjoy perfume or if you have a favorite smell you havent found in shampoo or oil, then to flip your hair down so your head is toward the ground, and spray a light mist behind your hair, so when you flip it back over, theres a light smell from your hair.

That is a daily standard with me. I'm a head bent down kinda of a gal too.If I ever use perfume I spray it into the air and then walk through the mist.....mmmmm
I also spray my bed linens every night with English Lavender spray mist I buy in big bottle at BED BATH and Beyond....I love that store....Check it out....

That's how they say you are supposed to put perfume on - walk through it and get a light coating.
I have lavendar spray stuff for my bed too!
