This is for real.
The date of the "Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of CHARLIE'S ANGELS" is March 8th on NBC.
BONUS NEWS:
The NBC website has a long video preview of it with a nice amount of footage of Ben in his role as Lee Majors.
Check it out at:
http://www.nbc.com/nbc/Movies_&_Specials/
Honestly, the movie looks like it could be fun.
how about we all watch (duhh!! LOL) and then send NBC extremely nice letters (via their webpage or snail mail.. either way), telling them how much we enjoyed the movie, and especially the role of Lee Majors... :ewink:

Since the movies about the 'angels' they probably won't have BB doing any six million dollar man slow mo shots with the wierd springing sound playing in the back ground. Too bad. But otherwise I think the show looks interesting.

This could be a good PR boost for Ben. The thing is surely to be high-rated. NBC is bound to be promoting it. I wouldn't even be surprised to see it promoted on the Tonight Show and the Today Show (though the chicks will probably get to appear, not Ben).
It will be interesting to see how many of the reviews/articles mention him as Ben "Farscape" Browder. I also wouldn't be surprised to see it get coverage on Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood. Be on the lookout as the airdate approaches.
To top it off, it may be fun TV. Diane Werts, the Farscape-friendly critic for Long Island Newsday, wrote this about it:
>>Then when you expect them to let it all hang out, literally, they don't. NBC was promoting a March movie that goes "behind the camera" with the 1970s "jiggle" hit "Charlie's Angels" the way the network previously peeped its way to huge Nielsens by dishing the dirt on "Three's Company." Critics expected to hate the flick, which was closed-circuit piped to our hotel room TVs at midnight for "research" purposes before the next day's press conference. But it turned out to be trashy fun ("If the show doesn't work out," its Jaclyn Smith character tells her co-stars, "at least we'll all have silky, manageable hair"). It was also deliciously inside-baseball, portraying producers like Aaron Spelling and executives like Michael Eisner and Fred Silverman that some critics have known for decades. The whole thing radiated an air of fun and self-spoofing that won just about everybody over, and the young actresses playing Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith way-back-when actually look, sound and act pretty much like their prototypes. <<
I like the idea of writing NBC some letters about Ben after the airdate. It certainly wouldn't hurt.
BTW--did you know that the actor playing Aaron Spelling is the voice of Homer Simpson?

I just watched the preview and it does look fun ... kitschy '70s fun, but still :D

I'm not sure they've secured a distribution deal yet. That's the thing with independent films.
A few Scapers have started to communicate with the producers, though, and will shout it to the hills when they hear something concrete.

I wish we could afford to have a "savefarscape.com" commerical air during Ben's movie. When will we ever have this large an audience?
One good thing........at least Ben is working for NBC........maybe they might consider his other project for their newly aquired scifi channel??
Writing letters in reqards to this movie might make them realize what they're missing by not airing Farscape. I understand that the project doesn't have distribution yet.
In some ways.........even though we're annoyed with scifi.........they would be the best choice to air the mini. That is.........if NBC is behind the project.........and chooses to promote it the right way. Which really means.........promote it .........AT ALL!!!!
And, have you noticed that Henson seems to be everywhere?? Jessica Simpson with the Muppets in a Superbowl Commerical?!
This can't hurt our chances with Farscape!!! As far as I'm concerned I'm hoping that the mini..........is A BEGINNIG..........NOT AN ENDING!!!!!!
