I'm kinda new to this forum, so I don't know if this question has been posed before, but I think it's a good question for people who have seen a lot of Farscape.

My vote is the opening music from scratch n' sniff (ep 3x13), which I think is an underrated episode all around. It calls all of those sci-fi cliches out and turns them on their heads.

Scape the planet.

I really liked the music used in the premiere when John goes through the wormhole.. I believe it's used a few other times too. I also liked the music when moya lands on that planet in I ET.. both are on the soundtrack.

The opening themes for the show are great too, and it goes without saying all of the use of the 1812 overture in Crichton Kicks is great :)

There's some others I liked but thats all I can recall this late...

Scratch & Sniff is also my favorite. But I really get a thrill every time I hear the series "theme".

SMALL SPOILER

Also love music played during Aeryn's funeral, that moves me to tears.

lol, just the other day I was thinking about the music in the show and wondering if it was being discussed anywhere around here...but anyway, I really enjoy the music in Through the Looking Glass. :D

I also love the opening music which is what first caught my attention to the show while channel surfing :D

"Salve Me" and "La Crimosa" from Into the Lion's Den Part 2.

Also, "Parting Comrades" which was the main theme of the Season 1 finale "Family Ties."

1812 Overture. I liked it before I saw Crichton Kicks, but now I love it.

I like the music from Aeryn's funeral quite a bit. I also like the music from "The Way We Weren't," "Premiere," and the opening music. It's all great.

I love the music from SnS and, of course, season 4's unofficial theme: the 1812 Overture.

I also really like the music from Jeremiah Crichton (even though I don't like the episode). And I like the music from the fight scene in John Quixote.

I love all the music from all the eps.;)
But the coin toss from DWTB music leaves me in bits every time.
Love the music in the tag of GEM. The music at the end of Family ties when D'argo and John are floating in space is terrific too.
and yeh, the Lion's Den stuff.

The prison cell music in Nerve/Hidden Memory where we first meet Stark.
The music from Dog With Two Bones - all of it, and how it is played upon in season 4.
The music from Scatch 'n' Sniff where they break out the night vision
From Liars, Guns & Money - Plan B, where John is manically waving the gun about infront of Scorpius (I just remember that as being a really powerful scene)
The stuff from the last ten minutes of Family Ties
For some inexplicable reason, the military music from The Way We Weren't
Yep, the two from Into The Lion's Den (I think you can still download them from www.scifi.com/farscape if you root round a bit)
The music from the chase in Die Me, Dichotomy (from the very start, above the planet)

Erm... can't recall many others that stand out at the mo. One good thing about music is when you don't notice it, but it still manages to enhance a scene.

I'd have to say the scene from Aeryn's funeral and Into the Lion's Den.

Ever since I got hooked watching those music videos set to Farscape scenes, they're all I think about when I watch those episodes or hear the music on the radio.

I've managed to convince my ears that Evanescence really did do music for the show. :D

Salve Me, La Crimosa, Aeryns funeral and the background music from the Choice. I have the first 3 on my hardrive but the last is impossible to find and to my knowldge never existed as an independant track from the episode. I've got half a mind to get some audio editing software and yank it strait out of the ep myself. The only obsticle being that I wouldn't have a clue how to begin doing something like that.

Thats the one. I didn't know it had a name, but that is my favourite. Brings a lump to my throat everytime I hear it.

Does anyone know where to get music tracks from season 4?

I love both versions of the opening music, though I like Seasons 3 & 4 better.

I love the music that's played in "Thank God It's Friday Again" during the different shots of the Tanneck Root fields.

The music in "They've Got a Secret" when D'Argo talks about Lo'lan and Jothee and then when Aeryn promises D'Argo that she will never tell anyone about his son. The latter is re-used in "A Human Reaction" when they're saying "Good-bye" to John and again when the aliens reveal themselves in the same episode.

And in "Family Ties" when John is talking to the tape recorder for the last time.

UPDATE:

Now that I've seen the whole series, I will add:

"DNA Mad Scientist" - during the scenes when Aeryn is telling John how she's always been apart of a team, and then later when she tells him about how her experience as Namtar's lab rat

"Die Me, Dichotomy" - Aeryn's funeral

"Into the Lion's Den, Part 2" - the destruction of the Command Carrier

"Bad Timing" - recap music, Aeryn telling John that she's having a baby and then as the neutralizing ship is swooping down on them.

I'd have to say Scratch N Sniff had the best music also. Kinda funny considering as a whole I really didn't like that ep much.

I also really quite liked the soundtrack in Peacekeeper Wars, maybe because it was the end, and the music sounded so final.

The music during this scene in Nerve. And it was never played again. It was weird and anticipatory.
