View Full Version : Why aren't there spoilers for the mini?

I would expect that if they are more than half way through production that some type of spoilers would have emerged. Not that I'm a spoiler whore or anything.:ewink: Actually I have been off spoilers for most of my favorite shows for the past year. When I was in to spoilers there would be spoilers out months in advance of the show airing. I will admit that I have only started watching Farscape as of last year, so I was wondering if there was a difference in dissemination of information.

Maybe they're keeping tight raps on the production as not to "spoil" the story.
I'd rather know nothing about it until it's shown. There's no fun in already knowing what happens.

I imagine the lack of information is directly related to the secrecy around the project. Rockne's recent letter to the site points out that nobody invovled is allowed to say anything officially.

I love information...
secrecy???? George Lucas can't keep SW under secrecy....
No, someone has to know something...
Heck, I'd be happy hearing the offical, John/Aeryn/Baby are alive and well...
That would do me for a while...

I love spoilers (except for 24). The neat thing about Farscape is that (at least for me) knowing what's going to happen has no effect on my enjoyment when actually watching it. All those fantastic acting nuances will forever be outside the realm of the most detailed spoiler, and for me that's the big payoff of Farscape.
Heck, I'm still looking forward to the rest of S4 since I still haven't seen them all yet even though I know the major plot twists. Come on, ADV!!

Farscape has *always* been extremely careful about spoilers..the PTB know the power of surprise. However, with Con season coming up, the Saturns..maybe some interviews with our folks, someone might spill something...

In the past, I was a spoiler junky but I have reformed and I have promised myself that I will remain spoiler free for the mini-series!

I'm not only a spoiler whore, I read the endings of books first.
I'm dying here! :D I saw Ben's new agency pic at BritAngie's and haven't picked myself back up off the floor since. Looks like he's got Farscape hair again.

I feel exactly the same way regarding spoilers for my favorite shows. Reading a summary of it one thing, but nothing compares to watching everything unfold in full color on the screen. Sometimes, knowing what's going to happen accentuates the emotions I feel when watching. Such as Bad Timing . . . I knew how it was going to end before it aired here in the US (Thanks, mike!) and knowing what was coming next made it that much more powerful for me.
*twitch* I need my spoilers!

Easier said than done! The spoilers are so irresistable and attractive and hard not to look at.....
I managed to stay spoiler-free for the end of S4, but I haven't decided about the mini yet. Since their haven't been any spoilers around, I haven't had to deal with it.

Seeing that the highest ep. i've seen is 4x01, it wouldn't so much spoil as confuse.

I don't want details, but I probably enjoy a little spoiler. In Farscape's world, though, spoilers don't affect the show for me. I hadn't seen Avenging Angel & (spoiler alert......

When I found out it was 1/2 cartoon - I thought "how can they do that realistically - that it doesn't mock the viewer?" Well, they definetly didn't mock the viewer - I love the ep & was so surprised as to how well they did it.
A plot summary is just a skeletal outline & the way the actors flesh out the story makes it a night & day difference. Almost like it's an entirely different story, but when you do read the summary after viewing it - it's like, ok - that's right - but - man, you've got to see it to understand it!!

I prefer American Gigolo... except the bi-sexual part... yes except for that.
:O im the only one who did have a clue what was gonna happen during watching the eps? I knew a major spoiler in season 4 after watching wont get fooled again, but apart from that i was spoiler free!
