I put in my two weeks notice last Tuesday and have just been going through the motions since. Last night I left early and I really don't want to go tonight.
Yes, I am the supervisor, but no one listens to me or asks me questions, so why should I go?

Do you need the money?

because it is the Right thing to do. You told your boss that you would be there for 2 more weeks... so you should work... otherwise your credibility will be lacking.

And if you want a good reference from your supervisor, that might be a reason to go, too?
Hey, how 'bout I go to your job and you go to mine. I'm burnt out. ;)

Yeah, if youre counting on your boss for a recommendation to another job, I'd go to work.
Granted I didnt go to my last day of work though, but I didnt need their stinking recommendation. :)

I agree with grinner on that. It's not a matter of loyalty to the employer - it's a matter of your integrity to yourself. Sorta like doing the right thing - even if no body else gives a damn. You'll know if you did or not.

While I agree with grinner and UTChick's answers, and that's why I'm hesitant, I like Judith_Shakespeare's better! :D
But, if I don't go now I'll be late. I'm going to leave a bit early again tonight, but I can't show up late and leave early.
Thanks guys!
