I was thinking about e-mailing one of the talk shows I watch and telling them about this wonderful show and this wonderful campaign. I am not sure if it's a good idea or not. Some feedback would be appreciated before I actually do it.
Thanks,
Maggs

It's worth a try! I don't see how you can loose. The worst thing that can happen is that they throw the letter in the bin. I say give it a try! :)

I say go for it Mags. It can't hurt, and it could help a lot. Maybe they'll invite some of the cast on, or Brian Henson.

Have you browsed through other pages on this site besides the forums? There is a press kit (somewhere) and other articles written that may give you some ideas of the best way to approach this show.

Go for it. You never know, if they get enough requests they just might bring a few cast members on.

Hi, Maggs, and welcome to FMD! I see you are from my home area (go Senators!...or not). Is this a local or national talk show you are considering contacting? Just curious.

some of us wrote to ellen to get her to invite claudia or gigi when they were in california last year. i still think it's worth trying.

It's a national tv show. I'll just say the name. I was thinking maybe the Sharon Osbourne show. She seems to be someone who might actually do something with it.
I heard that Sharon Osbourne's show got cancelled recently and will end its run in May :(

Well I did it anyway. I hope this actually gets somewhere.

Way to go. What's the worse that can happen? Especially if compared to not trying at all? :aok:

ellen's show is becoming very popular. what about writing to her?

I picked Sharon because I actually watch the Sharon show but I don't watch Ellen so I do want to be kinda rude and ask her show for anything because of that.

That's understandable.
