I have the urge to leave work early today. I've spent the last week trying to get Visual Basic 6.0 to work on Windows XP. I HATE MICROSOFT!!!!

Couldn't get it to work, so I loaded out Virtural PC (another MS product but not too bad actually) and then loaded Windows NT (plus the service pack, plus all the hot fixes since the service pack), then loaded VB (plus the service pack). Then discovered that every time you add a component to Windows NT, you have to reapply all the hot fixes.
I HATE MICROSOFT!!!!.

Now I'm wading through the drivers and other stuff I need in order to get the VB project to execute. I would much rather be working in the garden.

PS: never tell your boss that you're caught up if there's anything she wants you to do. :D

I have the urge to throw up. I've already done so twice since 9:00 last night. I woke up several times last night and was hanging onto the bed because the whole room was spinning. And I didn't have any alcolhol so it's not that. I want so bad to just stay home and go back to bed, but I have two meetings this morning with clients and I have to be there. I don't even have the energy to take a shower.
