I voted for John/ scorpius and John / Harvey, mostly because that was the dynamic that initially hooked me, but also because my A.D.D. kicked in about 1/3 of the way down the list!

I'd imagine you'd need a helluva big sample to get good data on a poll this size. I voted for Scorpius & Braca because I think it has some genuine mystery left to it. Braca, I think has his own agenda - so it's a little tough to gauge how much loyalty he has in Scorpius, or how much faith Scorpius has in him.

stellar, that's why I allowed multiple voting, to up the counts. Plus I really just wanted to spark some conversation on some of the less talked of relationships... some of them are quite fascinating, but get drowned out by the really titanic ones (John-Harvey, John-Aeryn, D'Argo-Chiana).

While, I am a romantic at heart (I love the Stark/Zhaan relationship), my favorite 'ship is John/Scorpius and John/Harvey. I just find it so interesting and different and refreshing to see the 'hero' and the 'villian' working together. The complexity of their relationship is fascinating :)

There was more I would have liked to have chosen but I kept it to 10 as asked.. of the ones I chose the one that is underused and would be interesting to be developed more is a Scorpy/Aeryn relationship of some kind.

To me, the most interesting relationship was between Aeryn and Zhaan. I think this relationship showed Aeryn the most, showed her she could be both a warrior AND a lover, could be "soft, never weak". In my opinion, Aeryn's relationship with Zhaan is what allowed Aeryn to finally open her heart to John, to open herself to true love, to become a whole person. I think John's mojo was working on Aeryn from the get go, and I think eventually she would have learned to love anyway, but the relationship with Zhaan propelled that part of Aeryn's growth.

On the otherside of this equation, I think Zhaan also gained a lot from her relationship with Aeryn. Prior to meeting Aeryn, Zhaan had spent 17 cycles dealing with the guilt over

***********spoiler****************(for Rhapsody in Blue)

















her guilt over having killed her lover. After meeting Aeryn, and developing her relationship with her, Zhaan was able to re-incorporate the warrior spirit, and thus regain much of her inner strength, and become more whole again. I see Aeryn and Zhaan as sort of mirrors for one another, each showing the other parts subsumed, repressed, hidden deep. Having been shown these emotions, or qualities, the emotions or qualities could then be more healthily integrated.

The relationship between Zhaan and Aeryn is one of the most compelling relationships portrayed in any media, but especially on television. A while back someone asked a similar question to this on this forum, and I answered there that i liked Z&A the most. I remember someone quoted me, then laughed. I've forgotten who laughed at my post, but I've often wondered, what the heck was so funny about what I said? I hope that person, who ever it was, reads this, and gets a better understanding of my appreciation for the Z&A relationship. If they dont, frell 'em. I recognize an important, powerful relationship when I see one, and this one is very important.

Can't you just tell I have a thing for Tyno? Too bad he wasn't listed on that "Hottest Male" poll. Most of the men on that poll aren't really my type. I LOVE Stark's character and the way he is with Zhaan, but I wouldn't exactly describe him as "hot." He's too scruffy for me.

the only other thing i can think of would be if john and aeryn did actually sleep together in human reaction..... but i always thought that wasn't really aeryn and it was all in his mind... like a wet dream....

you would think if they actually slept together they would mention it in a later episode....
