Simple question: What happens to the lock of hair that John keeps for himself? I don't remember it being discussed again, but I wouldn't think he'd just get rid of it - even when she comes back.

That surprises me. You'd think someone would've picked up on the emotional baggage that would've accompanied it. I thought it could've come up at the end of season 3 or the beginning of season 4.

I also haven't read any fanfic on that (but then again, I haven't read all the fanfic out there).:D

I read one where he had kept it but they never talked about it... couldn't tell you a name though... it was a future fic where they were married

I don't think that it was that important after Aeryn came back. I mean you have the whole head now... he propably just forgot it in a drawer somewhere.

It would have been funny if Aeryn had gone like "did someone cut my hair?"

There was a fanfic challenge back after Fractures where many writers referrence the piece of hair. You may be able to find them at Kansas but it would take some digging. (I know this cause I wrote one myself but to tell you the truth, I don't know where it is anymore!)
