One thing I've noticed about Farscape is the dialogue sometimes make you do a double take -- case in point:
CRICHTON
( shouting )
Don't call me John!
CRAIS:
Crichton, then. Are you accusing me of theft?
Aeryn glances upward, to converse with the Leviathan.
AERYN
Talyn, you've seen them both naked. Perhaps you can tell us who's bigger.
LOL. I saw Green Eyed Monster for the first time recently and swore I was hearing things with Aeryn's line and that my mind subconsciously dived in the gutter where it usually resides. :D I said to myself -- did she say what I thought she said. Has anyone else around here been caught by surprise by something the characters said?

along the line of scrape_medic's reference is another line that comes from the LATP trilogy. When John goes bonkers on Braka and grabs his gun and points it to his hand and yells "My sex life! Kill my sex life!" :rollin:

That line comes from "Suns and Lovers". John & Aeryn got a few minutes alone in a conduit, looking for trapped children on a space station, and Aeryn decided to start a conversation about sex, and how they saw to their "biological needs" by "reducing bodily fluids" when she was in the PK ranks. She even does an almost-strip-tease for John.

Ahh yes, rinnicbob, thank you for that reminder. You are of course correct and that was a great scene. I think I was having trouble getting past the bizarre alien living fridge magnet and could not remember the name of the ep.

The complete (I think) conversation between John and Aeryn in "Suns and Lovers" is:
Aeryn: You know I've been thinking about us.
John: You want to talk about this now?
Aeryn: It's a good time no one here to bother us. I know the prices of living close, how it can effect the safety of the entire battalion, unless tensions are relieved.
John: So what do you suggest?
Aeryn: Well in Peacekeepers it aw common practice to, ah, reduce fluid levels.
John: Fluid levels, like what like Valvoline, like brake fluid?
Aeryn: Like sex. We can have sex if you want.
John: You know what? Now is not a good time. How about I check my diary and get back to you later in the week.
Aeryn: It would relieve the tension.
John: Is this for you or for me?
Aeryn: For both of us.
John: You know what? I got two hands. I can alternate. I can release all the tension I want and I don't need your charity.
Aeryn: And I don't need your emotions, but we can have sex if you want.

Yeah... that is a good one :) but my favorite is still D'Argo's 'good news' in LATP III "Chiana and I are having fantastic sex!" ... I love that scene! :D

That line is so classic. I'd love to be able to put those words in John's mouth, except in regards to him and Aeryn having "fantastic sex" post GEM or Meltdown. But I think he respects Aeryn too much to advertise their sex life to anyone...well I can see him teasing Sparky about it since their activities pretty much disgusted the Dominar. ROFL

I love that one. And "Stand back or the white boy gets it!"
That, and in Lava's A Many Splendored Thing when John says "Listen, Mr. Redshirt..." when talking to the henchman who is about to get it.
And D'Argo's line about torching Granny. "You do that to your old people?"
"No, it just seemed like a good idea."

OMG! That scene is hilarious. Only on Farscape would they be so bold as to make that kind of reference. Poor Braca is looking at John like he's total lunatic in that scene. You can only imagine what must've been going through his mind..."this guy's actually challenging me to...." :D

Aeryn is willing to suppress the fact that she loves him, yet she ain't too proud to admit in so many words that she's horny for him. ;) :D

Yeah, and can't those two be on the same page at the same time. John reconsiders her suggestion that they reduce body fluids at the end. Must've been getting to him that he could have her rather than his two alternating pals. :O

By looking at Braca's facial expressions it looked like he was going to have a mental breakdown
1) he can't point the gun away cause he'll get away and
2) he could shoot himself and Braca's orders were to not allow John to be injured, cause then Scorpy will say Braca how did that happen??

Don't be so quick to dismiss the dominar in such a fashion. It was he who discovered Jothee and Chiana by using some sort of "half-a$$ed" visual transmitter... first he sees Chi's back and he begins to rub his own eyebrows... and... who here can remember what that means to a Hynerian?
(hint... good ol' Rygie was a closet voyeur)

The one that just killed me -- and I didn't get it the first time -- was in What Was Lost, when D'Argo tells John that he has to go back to Grayza and keep her occupied for a while. D'Argo says something like, "from what I heard, that shouldn't be hard." John replies, "trust me, it'll be hard." It was on my second or third watching that I suddenly realized what he had just said. Did anybody else catch that? He just kind of (pardon the expression) slipped it in there , under the radar.

Aeryn'ns line in Green Eyed Monster, I think refers to who's more MALE (MACHO MAN), Crais or John. Notice that both are in love with her. That's the sense of the line when she says that.

I love the whole exchange between John and D'Argo when discussing Grayza in What Was Lost...of course, it ending in D'Argo's lil love tap was just the cherry on the top of the sundae!

lol. They all have the most unexpected lines. I was just watching Losing Time last night.
D'Argo: When did you lose your virginity?
John: 16
(Pause)
D'Argo: ...I was seven.

I saw Green Eyed Monster a few minuts ago. Wow, Ben Browder did a great Job with this screeenplay, although it is sad to watch Season 3 again with the knowleadge what will happen.
In this episode it is wonderfull how things are shown like Talyns character, the relationshop between John, Crais and Aeryn, Johns anger about his treatment on board.
Its strange to have this emotional jelousley ship and it is strange that this works without any problem, that it helps to bring John and Aeryn really together.
Finally there it is :thewave:
I am not that romantic kind, but this is wonderful.

It really does show Talyn's character. Much despise and jealousy for John being so close to Aeryn. Truely a great episode. I know it is just a set, but I picture Moya and Talyn real with episodes like this.

Its in a way curious, but especially with Talyn I forget, when I try to describe him and his character, that he is a ship.
He is a child wich needs shelter, that makes Into the Lion's Den so hard to watch. I mean, who would cry for a ship in another series, really cry? I had to, it was like watching Zhaan or John die.
And this was much worse because of his youth and because he had never the chance to learn the good things in this world.
Uuuuuuh, I don't want to watch it again, its heartbreaking *sigh*

Yup, I'm getting up to Into the Lion's Den. When Talyn did that, I cried. Then they shift to Moya and Pilot and I love what he said.

It's so nice to come back once in awhile and reread previous posts like this.
I'd have to say one bit that got me from the very first was this one, from "We're So Screwed: Fetal Attraction":
Jennek: "Why the deception?"
John: "Cause I was horny. Was lookin' for a Sebacean woman."
Vreena: "You attacked me and tried to release one of the patients."
John: "No offense, but, she's sexier than you are."
Jennek: "What would you have done with her?"
John: "Taken her back to my ship. Frelled her. Made babies. (Hah)"
John defeats the vaunted Scarren heat probe with a little bit if of the truth and a whole lot of good old red-blooded male hormones!! If only Jennek knew how honest John was really being about his plans for Aeryn, huh? Can I get a hell yeah, to that?
