John's reaction in "Meltdown" to...

I don't know whether anyone has ever made this observation before, but John was really...I don't know...surprised by Aeryn's gesture of kissing his finger after he burned it. She on the other hand didn't think nothing of it, though, it was such a human gesture which is what I believe caught John by total surprise. Did anyone else notice this? :)

I think he was just surprised - it was a very un-Aeryn thing for her to have done.

I think she held back from showing feelings for him for so long that when she finally opened up to them she opened them up completely. She saw that her man was hurt and she was going to take care of him. She wanted him to know that she would be there for him. Also a little of the PK that is still in her was telling him it's not bad, get back to work. :)

Last episode I watched was Fractures and I have the rest of Season 3 to watch and then on to 4 wich I have not seen any of.

I thought that she kind of sucked his finger more than just kissed it. I also thought that little act was a part of what the mist was doing to her.

And yes, I do think that the mist was what prompted that action from Aeryn. Normally she would be entirely focused on work - this instance she takes time to ummmmm.... provide solace to a booboo.

But you'll notice they must've been running and dressing at the same time. LOL 'cuz I think he's still putting his shirt on just as he runs into command. Aeryn is a little better in that she was almost completely dressed.

I've put watching this "Relativity" teaser and "Meltdown" on my watch list for tonight. :D

A little earlier in this thread someone mentioned the Feelin' Love video. Just checked it out.

I don't smoke, but I need a cigarette. ;) One other thing I love is that I've seen enough of the show that there are only a couple of scenes that I haven't watched yet. For the most part, I can identify all the clips.

As someone else posted, I would be *so* excited to have just the John/Aeryn bits of this episode on a DVD.
