He is a dem running for the 52nd district for house of represenatives. Very interesting guy. He isnt accepting any donations from special interest or corporations...just individuals. Look at the interview with him there. A very charasmatic sounding and interesting person for a northern california guy. We usaully dont get anyone good:(.

yah...and from NORTHERN FREAKING CALIFORNIA!!! The most conservative place in california. I really like this guy...he actually responded personally to my e-mail! Considering working for his campaign this summer. Anyone who is voting march 2nd give this guy your vote. It looks like he deserves it. Im considering giving him some contributions to...

Dear Shareholders, Family, Friends, and Supporters,

Well we got a week left now, coming into the final heat of the primary. Got a bit to catch up on.

Been doing the speaking circuit with Democratic Clubs and Candidate nights, pretty good responses and press. Our "shares" have been selling thanks to the AP article and the report on NPR's Market Place. (we placed our campaign for sale on eBay, search "Congressional Campaign" and view the "Certificates of Democratic Freedom")

Seems this idea of the little guy going up against entrenched incumbent with huge corporate warchests is paying off. We've had a real "pan-partisan" response from across the country with both democrats and republicans alike supporting this campaign- obviously we hit a nerve.

People have been writing me with the greatest heartfelt support and good wishes even though for many I am technically outside of their district. Why would people do that?

Because it is in everyone's interest to have a Congress free from corporate control, even if it's just one candidate, even if that one is far from their home turf. Corporate influence in our political process may be as old as the hills, but what is new is that it is no longer mere influence but the out and out dictation and implementation of both our domestic and foreign policy.

And maybe this wouldn't be so bad if their policies weren't bankrupting our nation, hemorrhaging jobs overseas, and sending home our sons and daughters in body bags.

What we're up against here in the second district is an incumbent who has long ago abandoned us, politically, economically, and in reality. In all these town hall meetings he has not once even sent someone to represent himself as a courtesy. Lord Wally is throughly convinced, as are all the pundits and pollsters, that a wave of his hand as the limo speeds past in the last weeks is all that is needed to safely return him to power.

His list of corporate donors is a who's who of Corporate Scoundrels quarterly. From Enron to Arthur Anderson, to the major petroleum companies and health insurance juggernauts. I am truly in the belly of the beast and it is exquisite. Exquisite because, provided I get through this primary, I am going to unleash the most unconventional, guerrilla styled campaign even seen.

That is provided I get through this primary. What we need is the last round punch which is 1/2 page ads in two papers, one in Chico and one in Redding. It ain't cheap though. I need to raise
nearly 2500.00 by this weeks end and I am hoping all of you who have bought shares of this campaign will want to protect your investment by either investing further or telling some friends what we are doing here.
