Does anyone know why scifi has not shown the last EP. of farscape and does anyone know when it will be on. I checked scifi and it appears they are starting over.

I thought I saw it listed at 1:00 am this coming Sunday night/Monday morning. I might be mistaken, though. I go check the schedulebot.

I think the powers that be at SciFi have it in for Farscape, or at least 'Scapers. The episodes they have are bought and paid for, so they'd be crazy not to run them, but they love to mess with the schedule.

im going to write these morons and tell them about their idiocy. The fans love this show and it will only hurt them to anger the fans. I think someone else should run scifi. they have a few scifi shows but the rest are reality shows. what does this new freak show have to do with scifi? I though they would run SCIFI like battlestar galactica (old version) you know scifi things. not the crap like scare tactics. This channel is going downhill fast

well when you didnt start watching the show until after it was canceled thats not an option. I own seasons 1 through 4 up to 4.2 and have everything else on tivo until i get them on dvd. All except the last EP.
Dont rub it in

In my opinion, they're just afraid of another backlash from new fans. I'd like to think they've realized they made a mistake, but are trying to bury Farscape by airing it only at ridiculous hours of the night and only showing it on an irregular basis. It's bizarre the way they handle the show. It's like they want it to fail and when it doesn't, they try harder.

Sorry. I know I was going nuts waiting for the last episode when it originally aired.

I don't think it's just Sci Fi that sucks. I think we're seeing a pervasive shift in the way TV approaches SF programming. Fox cancelled Firefly; the WB is canceling Angel. These shows have all been popular and either riding high or in an up-swing when they've gotten the ax. Reality shows end up replacing them, I believe, simply because they are more profitable. They're much cheaper to make and addictive enough to gather a lot of viewers. Similarly, the SF shows that persist like Andromeda or Stargate SG-1 are strongly episodic shows that cater to the casual viewer, which means high ratings for a network but relatively few "annoying" hardcore fans to go on about the network is messing their show up.

This all makes business sense, and I don't think we'll see it change any time soon. Someone over at the Angel spoiler board was suggesting a week or so ago that fans should get together to chip in funding (maybe $10/person) for their favorite shows to get made. I think this could be the wave of the future. Now, even a huge, international fan-base couldn't fund a whole season, but it probably could fund a mini or a TV movie. We might get less SF but at least get to see some of the high quality stuff we love continue.

tis a sad thing that having been a fan of anything trying to be different, but with intelligence, has always pleased me. The Magic of any scifi with real moxy, face it, why Lexx went as long as it did amazes me...but cable and now satalitte were supposed to be pay for so there was not any advertising...but that didn't last. We never get what we pay for.

The quality productions just always cost too much. Didn't Henseon have to move out of England because of the costs? It's sad but true.:(
